Forestville Campground Reviews
Forestville is a nice little tucked away campground to spend the weekend in. There was no firewood for sale when we stayed, but the fireplace provided was decent. Check in and check out was easy enough. Bathrooms were nice and maintained. Would stay here again.
Oct 18, 2024 · Amber WieseWe would camp here again, we had a good time. Everyone that camped last weekend there was very respectful, and nice. We had no issues, besides not grabbing our whole tent. Lol. Meijer and the town is not far away, thankfully. There was firewood at the campground to purchase if needed, and there were trails all around the campsite, if you wanted to go walking or biking.
Jun 04, 2022 · Nicole CorzineA decent campground for an area that surprisingly doesn’t have many campgrounds around. The sites are kinda all packed in together and there isn’t much underbrush between them. In the plus side it is nice and close to Marquette, also it is close to some recreation trails. Signs said dogs welcome. Vault toilets were not too bad. Nighttime light on nearby toilets.

Aug 17, 2023 · Chris BenesOverall a pretty decent campground, I don't wanna make it seem it seem otherwise; however there are some things worth mentioning, some of which I think could be easy problems to fix.• For starters, I've been in many outhouses in my day, and these were by far the stinkiest outhouses I've truly ever been in. At the point where it's almost hard to breathe in there.• Also, the pole barn/office has a super bright light out back that lights up the entire campsite lot, I had to hang a sheet next to our tent so it was dark enough for us to sleep and we were in the far back of the lot. Which leads me to my next couple points• The campsites are pretty close together, there's very little brush or shrubs or greenery between sites so it's all very open. Basically you can see every other campsite on the lot no matter which site you're at. Secondly, the hiking trail/biking trail toward the back is maybe 10 feet or so from the campsites 09, 07, and 05 which was particularly annoying with people jogging and biking in the morning, especially with having a dog with usI'd just recommend redirecting the trail fartherback from the campsites and letting some nature grow in between.(Although it's worth noting as a positive aspect to the lack of underbrush, the trails and campsites are very well kept up and maintained)• Also this one's not as big of an issue honestly but was worth mentioning. Another two in one; There's no sink on the property but there is some hand sanitizer. Also, the potable water is just a double headed wall faucet on the side of the pole barn (one side supplying water to the owners camper) so the second available side is very high pressured and sprays a lot, fast and hard. It was honestly kind of annoying trying to brush my teeth or even fill my water jugs.I'd like to end this review by saying the people working there all seemed very nice and helpful, didn't bother us at all. I would recommend camping here, but I hope they fix the dang outhouses (among other things)
