Hidden Creek Camp Ground Introduce
For local residents in the Springville, Tennessee area searching for "camping near me," Hidden Creek Camp Ground, located at 2576 W Antioch Rd, Springville, TN 38256, USA, presents itself as a potential option. You can reach them by phone at (731) 641-0034 or mobile phone at +1 731-641-0034. When choosing a local campground, understanding its environment, the services it offers, and the overall atmosphere are key factors. While specific details about the natural environment of Hidden Creek Camp Ground are not provided in the given information, campgrounds in the Tennessee region often benefit from scenic landscapes, potentially including access to lakes, forests, or other natural attractions. Local campers interested in the specific environment should contact the campground directly for more details.
When exploring "camping near me," the availability and quality of services are paramount. Typically, campgrounds offer a range of campsite options to accommodate different camping styles, such as tent sites for traditional camping and RV sites equipped with hookups for water, electricity, and sewer. It is important to inquire with Hidden Creek Camp Ground about the types and number of campsites available, the amenities included at each site, and the overall capacity of the campground. Additionally, communal facilities often play a significant role in the camping experience. These can include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, picnic areas, and recreational spaces. Based on one of the reviews, the laundry room at Hidden Creek Camp Ground reportedly has issues, with only one washer working and previous claims of repairs proving false without any refund for unusable services. It is advisable to confirm the current status and upkeep of all communal facilities before making a booking.
Features and the overall atmosphere of a campground contribute significantly to the camping experience. Hidden Creek Camp Ground is reportedly promoting new additions such as a playground and a new pool. These features, if fully operational and well-maintained, could enhance the appeal for families and those seeking recreational activities. However, one reviewer explicitly states that the campground is "not a family environment" and describes it as being frequented primarily by "alcoholics" with a lack of rule enforcement leading to excessive noise late into the night (until 4 am). This reviewer also mentions being told to expect this atmosphere to worsen with the anticipated opening of a bar area. These are serious concerns for local users seeking a peaceful and family-friendly "camping near me" experience.
Furthermore, the same reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of the bathrooms, stating they are only cleaned once a week. Hygiene is a critical aspect of any campground, and infrequent cleaning can significantly detract from the overall experience. The reviewer also reiterated the issues with the laundry facilities and the lack of resolution or refund for non-functional equipment. Another review echoes a sense of decline, stating, "Just not what it used to be," and that the new owners have not followed through on promised improvements, resulting in a "run down" appearance and the food or bar area remaining closed.
Considering these recent customer experiences, local residents searching for "camping near me" should exercise considerable caution when considering Hidden Creek Camp Ground. The negative reviews highlight significant concerns regarding the atmosphere, particularly the lack of a family-friendly environment and issues with noise and alcohol consumption. The reported problems with facility maintenance, specifically the laundry room and bathroom cleanliness, are also important factors to consider. The unfulfilled promises of new owners and the run-down appearance further suggest potential issues with the overall management and upkeep of the campground.
While the prospect of a new playground and pool might seem appealing, the current social environment and maintenance standards, as described by recent visitors, appear to be significant drawbacks. Local campers prioritizing a quiet, family-oriented atmosphere and well-maintained facilities might find Hidden Creek Camp Ground unsuitable based on these accounts. It is strongly recommended that local users considering this campground contact the owners directly to address these concerns and inquire about any recent changes or improvements. Visiting the campground in person to assess the current conditions and atmosphere before making a reservation would also be a prudent step.
For local residents actively looking for "camping near me" in the Springville, Tennessee area, it would be wise to explore alternative campgrounds and RV parks. Comparing the reviews, amenities, and policies of different local options will help in making an informed decision that aligns with your specific needs and expectations for a positive camping experience. The issues raised in the reviews for Hidden Creek Camp Ground suggest that further investigation and comparison with other local campgrounds are necessary to ensure a satisfactory and comfortable stay.

Hidden Creek Camp Ground Reviews
Just not what it used to be. The new owners are not doing all the things they said they would. Looks run down and they still have not opened the food or bar area.
Oct 03, 2024 · Holly MiddletonThis place is not a family environment. They are promoting a new playground and new pool, but this park has nothing but alcoholics. No rules are enforced. Loud and I was told wait till the bar opens. Ppl there don't quite down till 4am. I was told bathrooms only cleaned once a week. Laundry room sucks. Only 1 washer works. Twice I was told there fixed, no they weren't. My money was never refunded. Brent runs it like an adult playground. Less your above 50 and a alcoholic this place is not for you.

Jan 12, 2025 · adam mccoyWell we haven't stayed yet. But we drove up and found miss Mary. She was a doll and helped us find our perfect spot. Cannot wait to pull our beautiful camper there n have our "lake house" for the year. The place looked beautiful though. Beautiful store and bar. Bath house was warm n clean laundry room was clean. Super excited.😁
Jan 29, 2017 · Anita BelfioreIt's clean. Camp care staff are friendly folks, for $20.00 a day for water and electric picnic tables at every site. On camp laundry, bath house. Swimming pool, playground for the little campers. Nice areas to walk with that special someone or let the kids out for a stroll. Nice camp grounds .
