Interesting thermal area with many different kinds of features to explore. While there are areas in Broad Creek where hot springs mix hot water in, avoided soaking because we spotted leaches in the creek and that turned us off. Broad Creek water will require you to clean your filter every few liters, not the best water to be had but ok. 4B1 is an easy hike bushwhacking from 4M2 and good basecamp for a day hike to Coffee Pot Hot Springs. Couldn't find perfectly level tent sites. You can explore this area as a day hike from Moss Creek (4M2) as well. - Dan Roman
