This place is awesome! The campground hosts are amazing! We had a mechanical problem on our camper and they were very helpful in finding a solution. All the staff are great, the grounds are great, and we just love the beach! Perfect getaway not to far from Rochester. Love it here!
Jun 15, 2024 · Trevor WallaceIf you are out RVing, this is a clean, reasonably priced RV camp. It has access to walking paths, fishing, and Cannon Falls is right around the corner. Red Wing is only 30 minutes away. The camp has 30/50 amp and good water. We’ll be back here again on our next round about for sure.
Sep 20, 2024 · Jerry ColemanThis is a great campground. Lots of RV sites and a bunch of tent sites. The one downside is that the tent sites don't have much shade, so heat can be an issue on warm and sunny days. That's said, there are two big playgrounds, on withodern climbing structure ls, slides, and swings and another nature-play area by the beach with big logs, a zip line, and a nature-themed splash pad. There are easy hiking trails (wide mowed paths), bike paths and a connection to the Cannon Valley Trail, a boat launch, and a nice beach. The showers are clean and well-maintained. The pit toilets are also clean and not very smelly. It's a fantastic place for kids and for families. It's an easy place to hang out and enjoy being outside.
May 29, 2024 · Justin ChapmanWe camped here with friends and children. It was quiet, clean & plenty to do for both adults and children. We enjoyed the beach, fishing, biking trails to the dam, splash-pad for the kiddos. We will definitely go back!
Jun 25, 2024 · Cassie BensonExcellent campground with super friendly & helpful camp hosts. Level concrete sites, most with lake views of some sort. Clean restroom/shower facilities, nice playgrounds, walking/bike path, firewood & light refreshments for purchase. Word of caution, the higher numbered sites do not have water at the site. It's easy to miss that if only booking off the map vs detail view. However, there is water available to fill tanks. Two stations at the dump station. Quiet park with a nice breeze off the lake. Highly recommend.
