Leander / NW Austin KOA Holiday Reviews
Friendly, helpful staff. The largest, nicest dog play area we’ve ever encountered at a campground (KOA or otherwise). Propane service conveniently located on site. Clean, well maintained facilities. We will absolutely be back!!
Feb 01, 2025 · Kaine DarnellWe've stayed here many times over the years and have enjoyed it each time. Great staff!! Super friendly and helpful. Seems to know when you need help and when to step away and let you have it.
Feb 09, 2025 · Randall PitcockIt is hard to say exactly what's more wrong that the last. From the checking in, where the woman sounded belittling to the person behind the front desk to the pictures showing that the pool and hot tub actually worked. The pictures on the website are clearly not updated when looking at them in person. The tv in the pavillion doesn't work, the pool table looks as if it is off balance by more than a person could correct themselves playing. This KOA is near the toll road which has just become a huge thourough fare and is so loud that the sounds of cars can be heard right up to and into the RV. The activities on the website do not happen, we attempted to go see if there was something happening a few times and was met with "oh, ok, let me..." There are so many other places around the leander area now that if you take the time to look you will find fun and really nice family atmospheres. We went ahead and left. Too bad the KOA family has this one in the mix. Boooooo KOA
Apr 15, 2025 · Ryan PhillipsEasy to get to, right off the freeway. Our spot was near a busy road & near the exit to the park. Was a bit noisy. Park is clean. Laundry room is also clean. Two days after we checked out I received a phone call from the office. The gal was not nice. She accused us of dumping ashes on the lawn at our site before we left. She asked why would we do that. The grounds keeper said it wasn't there before we arrived & that he checks the sites every day. We were there for 7 days. I explained the ashes were already there when we arrived. She didn't believe me at first. There were signs posted, no fires, so we didn't but someone before us did.
Nov 04, 2024 · Patty OsorioThe RV park was awesome! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We loved our patio site close to the dog park. The shower room was immaculate and clean. Would highly recommend.
