Tejas park Reviews
Like hiking thru a painting! Beautiful clear flowing waters, lots of birds, trees, and trails. Great place to get out in the sunshine, fresh air and reset. Warm winter day hike is a great time of year to put down the miles out here!
Jan 12, 2025 · Richard BerhostThis is my go to hiking and fishing spot in the area. Easy access , nice views and a good spot to fly fish. The water has been a bit low for a while.
Apr 11, 2025 · Matthew JonesA nice secluded trail with lots of water. In the spring, there are tons of wild flowers along the trail that make it even more beautiful! A very underrated trail and pretty flat so it’s not too strenuous!
Feb 15, 2025 · J MathewsGreat spot for learning how to camp. Clean camp site and just enough spacing between tent pads to give you some privacy. some of the pads are more in the open so double check when booking.
Oct 29, 2024 · Archer MorrowDog poop, road noise, and airplanes. A constant reminder of your proximity to civilization and an unpleasant atmosphere for camping.Campsites have nice tent pads, but little to no privacy and are poorly laid out so that you must walk through some campsites to reach another one. I would recommend against staying in campsite 8 as it is one of these.I appreciate that this park exists and there are great trails, but as a campground it leaves much to be desired - like dog poop free air and the sounds of nature.
