You can reach them by phone at (803) 309-1973 or their mobile number, +1 803-309-1973, to inquire about availability and make reservations for their RV sites or cabin rentals. Based on the available customer reviews, the campground offers a mix of positive experiences related to its convenience and tranquility, alongside a notable incident regarding noise levels.
When considering campgrounds within the "camping near me" category, factors such as accessibility, amenities, safety, and the overall atmosphere are often key considerations. Little Cedar Creek RV Park & Campground appears to score well in terms of its location, being described as "close to I-77," making it an easily accessible stop for those traveling through the region. This proximity to a major interstate can be a significant advantage for overnight layovers or for local residents seeking a quick and convenient camping getaway without venturing too far from home.
One positive review highlights the campground as "nice, quiet and safe," which are crucial aspects for any camper, especially those looking for a restful overnight stop. The availability of "full hook up" sites is also mentioned, indicating that RV travelers can expect to have access to essential utilities such as electricity, water, and sewer connections. The presence of a picnic table at each site adds to the convenience and comfort, providing a dedicated space for outdoor dining and relaxation.
The reviewer also notes that the sites are gravel and are pull-through, which is particularly beneficial for RVs, especially larger ones, as it simplifies the process of parking and departing without the need for backing up. The observation that the longer-term residents were "quiet and nice" suggests a peaceful and friendly community within the campground, which can contribute to a positive overall experience for short-term visitors as well.
The welcoming nature of the host, Shelly, is specifically mentioned and praised, indicating a positive and helpful point of contact for guests. A friendly and accommodating host can significantly enhance a camper's stay, providing assistance and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
However, it is essential to present a balanced view based on all available feedback. Another review recounts a less positive experience involving a noise complaint. According to this review, the guest, who was staying in a cabin, had the police called on them for playing country music past 8:30 pm (the exact time is noted as being "or whatever it was"). This incident led to the guest feeling unfairly targeted and prompted them to highlight the ownership of the property. This review introduces a concern about noise policies and the potential for strict enforcement, which might be a consideration for campers who enjoy evening music or gatherings.
The mention of ensuring the return of the deposit before departure suggests a degree of dissatisfaction and a desire to avoid potential issues. While the reviewer acknowledges that "the cabin was nice," the negative interaction regarding noise appears to have significantly impacted their overall perception of the stay.
Based on the available information, Little Cedar Creek RV Park & Campground offers the following features and considerations for local users and travelers:
- A convenient location close to I-77, providing easy access.
- Reportedly nice, quiet, and safe environment (as per one review).
- Full hook up RV sites available.
- Gravel, pull-through sites, which are beneficial for RVs.
- Picnic tables at each site.
- Welcoming and wonderful host (Shelly).
- Cabin rentals are also offered.
- Potential for strict noise policies, as indicated by one negative review involving a noise complaint and police intervention.
For local users considering Little Cedar Creek RV Park & Campground for an overnight stay or a longer visit, it would be advisable to inquire about the campground's specific policies regarding noise and quiet hours. Understanding these rules in advance can help ensure a comfortable and conflict-free stay for all guests. RVers should also confirm the availability and functionality of all hookups when making their reservations.
While one review strongly recommends the campground for an overnight layover due to its convenience and pleasant atmosphere, the other review highlights a potential issue with noise management that could impact the overall experience, particularly for those staying in cabins or those who enjoy outdoor activities in the evening. It's important for potential guests to be aware of both the positive aspects and the potential drawbacks based on the available feedback.
In conclusion, Little Cedar Creek RV Park & Campground offers a conveniently located option near I-77 in Ridgeway, SC, with full hookup and pull-through RV sites, as well as cabin rentals. The positive feedback emphasizes its quietness, safety, and the welcoming nature of the host. However, the reported incident involving a noise complaint suggests that guests should be mindful of and inquire about the campground's policies regarding noise levels, especially during evening hours, to ensure a harmonious experience for everyone. Little Cedar Creek RV Park & Campground Reviews
Nice, quiet and safe campground close to I-77. We laid over here for one night driving from FL to OH. Full hook up. Picnic table at the site. Gravel. Pull through site. The longer term residents were quiet and nice. Shelly was welcoming and wonderful. We would definitely stay again for an overnight layover.
Apr 03, 2025 · AJS 3272My review got deleted so I am back with the truth! The cabin was nice but my neighbor &/or the manager called the cops on me for listening to country music past 8:30pm or whatever it was! Ridiculous! I made sure to get a check for my deposit before I left! Cuz yankees own this place! I guess they were scared of me too after the cops were! 😆
Apr 15, 2025 · Preston CauseyThis was a convenient, small campground for a quick overnight stop on our way back from Buffalo to Florida. 50 bucks cash. Very nice lady checked us in. Only 1 bathroom and shower, but it was clean with plenty of hot water. Quiet. No frills. Campfire allowed. Close enough to interstate but far enough that you can't hear it.
Nov 14, 2024 · lisa dennisonStayed here in November paid $200 security for electric 2 months later still waiting for refund the site we were in had a large hole near neighbors water hookup from previous issue is approximately 3feet deep. Worst campground I have ever been to. Dog biz easily found without trying. One neighbor was running a puppy mill in his unit. Would not recommend to my worst enemy let alone a friend. Where is my deposit refund?
Jan 22, 2025 · LanceI stayed at the Littke Cedar Creek Campground in Ridgeway last weekend. A cold weekend! The reception was warm and nice. The restrooms and common areas were clean. The pond and surroundings were pleasant to walk around! In summary thank you and I recommend the campground
