Living Springs RV and Cabins Resort / Mt. Lassen Reviews
Depends on what you're looking for, but if you want somewhere quiet in the off season this is a great spot! Near to the mountains and with a small waterfall just at the bottom of camp, their many lodging options provide a variety of ways to camp. We enjoyed cottage number 3 with the hot tub and found a neat place for the baby to sleep in the larger bedroom, a small alcove in the wall that kids of all ages would probably enjoy sleeping in. We woke up to a surprise snowfall that wouldn't quit and it was magical! It was a low key place that was easy to get in and out of. The small road to the site could use some work but at least it encourages folks to drive slowly. We would stay here again.
Mar 10, 2025 · Hayley AThis place is amazing. It is beautiful and even has creek with a waterfall, also a nice pond. Plenty of amenities for kids for such a small place. Nothing too fancy, but well kept. Just beautiful nature all around you, friendly neighbors and an awesome and incredibly helpful staff.
May 08, 2025 · Boris WeberWe stayed here in our 40' converted school bus for 4 days during the off season (late October). The campground was nice and open with all the amenities. Christine was so nice and friendly! Our kids loved her. The office had a good selection of snacks and things to buy. The espresso was hot and much needed during the cold temps. We will definitely be back!
Nov 11, 2024 · Strong Wild n' FreeWe camped in our minivan-camper so I can't comment on cabins/rooms. Camping here was perfect for us, quiet and peaceful in beautiful surroundings, we loved it! The experience was even better due to the lady who ran the office, I think her name was Chris, perhaps Christi? She is an angel! I had to call her several times as we drove to Living Springs due to me missing a turn, going in the wrong direction, then having to back track, adding an hour plus to our arrival time. We made it there a few minutes after the official closing time of the office, and I know she must have been tired and ready to go home, but she hung in there with us. She took care of us and got us settled in. She was patient and kind, and we are grateful for her generosity. I would give her 10 stars if I could. We will be back whenever we are in the area, for sure! Thank you so much, Chris! :-)
Oct 25, 2024 · Canyon EagleWe really lucked out finding this campground for our trip to Lassen National Park. It had everything we needed and we appreciated the excellent service. I actually left my tripod there and we had already made it to Yosemite, I called and they were kind enough to ship it back to me. A nice resort can be easy to come by but kindness and care like the staff here is rare. The grounds were well taken care of and we liked that it was in close proximity to the park. It was also a great value compared to other accomodations in the area. We would stay here again.
