Lodgepole Gallery Reviews
Quiet, clean, very peaceful little cabin! Amazing porch area to sit & read a book, able to see for miles across the prairie. Shared little fridge, microwave, grill, toaster, coffee maker, etc. Would also recommend going to the Museum of the Plains Indian down the street.
Sep 16, 2023 · Andrea VuonoReally nice place to stay. It’s really peaceful because there’s nothing else there so no noise. It has everything you need, the room has a heater if it gets cold, a sofa and a table and a little porch outside to enjoy the sunset. The bathrooms are really clean and they give you everything, towels, soap, shampoo. And they have a little kitchen with a microwave, fridge and plates and glasses if you need something. In general the stay was lovely, only thing is that the bathrooms are outside and you have to walk a little and it gets really really cold so that’s the only bad thing, but they mention it in the description that they are shared bathrooms.
Sep 16, 2022 · Carolina LacayoWe had a great time. Approached like tent camping, the tipi was comfortable and the fire relaxing. There was a nice place for breakfast both inside or outside with self-serve amenities. The showers were warm and clean. We didn't bring any camping gear just warm clothes to sleep in, it got down to 39 the night we were there, so slept in a couple of layers. If you haven't slept in this kind of weather, wear a stocking cap it makes a big difference! We rebuilt the fire in early morning for a slight warm up. The owners and person who checked is in were very polite and helpful. As guests we also helped each other, so engaging others and self help made for a good evening and visit. And the dogs were friendly too.
Aug 21, 2018 · Brian SchmidtStayed here with our family of five (kids are 9, 7 and 2) and it was a great experience. The tipis are spacious and provide shelter from the elements, and the bathrooms, showers and dining area are all nice amenities. A great option for anyone staying on the east side of Glacier looking for a more affordable and unique experience!
Jul 26, 2018 · Jon KrausI am sitting on the porch and enjoying a stunning view. The prairie, the lake, the Rocky Mountains. If you want to try something different and connect with the nature, this is the place. You 'll sleep in a tepee but still having all the amenities: very clean showers, a great room where you can just sit and enjoy the time , a kitchen with a coffee machine, a mini fridge, tables where you can cook and eat, free wifi, and great hosts. Plus two lovely and very friendly cats. The art gallery is great, a lot of beautiful native Indian objects, books and magazines to read. We travel and camp a lot, but this place is the best I've ever camped.
