This is an absolutely amazing and beautiful place to camp! The campground was clean and well maintained. Plenty of places along the clear river to sit/splash and enjoy the day! Plenty of trees for shade. They offered vault style restrooms and first come first serve sites- no reservations.
Aug 04, 2024 · Happily RetiredThe good thing about being a realtor and showing properties is you get to see a lot of the countryside. Love the backroads! Showing property today in the area so stopped by. Blue Spring is so pretty, located up from Hammonds Mill bridge. It is a great swimming hole in the summer. The trees were beautiful this fall. It’s a great hike anytime of the year, especially in the Fall. 🍂🍁
Nov 03, 2022 · Melynni Jolliff-Realtor Serving MO & AR OzarksVery quiet place. Beautiful scenery. NOTE: OFF GRID! I didn't get no cell phone reception. Only two spots have electricity. All others are pretty much camp as you come. They do have restrooms. No showers. Nice river by the park and trails for walking.
Aug 29, 2022 · Adam S.Another wonderful US Forest Service campground with access to swimming in the river and a short hike to the beautiful blue spring. All for $10 a night! The first day there were 2 recently fledged crows arguing loudly with their parents right over my site. Eastern screech owls at night and it was nice to see indigo buntings again.
