Mustang Creek RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Paris, Texas area, Mustang Creek RV Park, located at 10471 TX-24, Paris, TX 75462, USA, presents itself as a potentially large RV park with a reported 40 to 50 available spots. Based on recent customer reviews, the park has received both positive and negative feedback, indicating a range of experiences for different guests. It is important for prospective visitors to consider these varied perspectives when evaluating Mustang Creek RV Park for their stay.
One positive review highlights the park's size and the helpfulness of the property manager, who is described as "easy to deal with and very helpful with whatever you may need." This suggests that guests can expect a responsive and accommodating on-site management team. The reviewer also notes that each spot offers back-in access and "all your hook up needs," implying that essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer are available at each site. The park's location is described as "conveniently located South of Paris and just far enough away you don’t feel the hustle and bustle of the city life," suggesting a balance between accessibility to the city and a more relaxed, less congested environment.
Furthermore, the positive reviewer mentions ongoing development at the park, stating, "They are currently building a building for extra amenities and it will be great once it’s finished." This indicates that the park is investing in improvements that could enhance the guest experience in the future. The reviewer also had a positive interaction with the investors/owners, describing them as "great down to earth families that truly care about the park." This personal touch from the ownership could contribute to a positive and caring atmosphere within the park.
However, a more critical review presents a contrasting experience. This reviewer made arrangements to move in based on the understanding that washers and showers were available and all utilities were included. Upon arrival, they found that "no washers were there nor showers," which significantly differed from their initial understanding. Additionally, after signing the agreement, they discovered that electricity was "capped," a crucial detail they felt should have been communicated beforehand. This discrepancy between advertised and actual amenities and utility provisions is a significant concern for potential guests.
The negative review also raised concerns about the park's maintenance. The reviewer noted "very high grass and water covering some of the roads," indicating potential issues with groundskeeping and drainage. These conditions could affect the usability and overall appeal of the park. Furthermore, they reported that "the internet stopped working while we were there," and they were instructed to contact the internet provider directly for assistance, which the reviewer found unsatisfactory.
Perhaps one of the most concerning aspects raised in the negative review was the issue with pests. The reviewer recounted that upon moving their smoker, "about 20 roaches scattered everywhere," which they attributed to the "high grass and wetness." More alarmingly, they also mentioned roaches climbing on them at night when sitting outside. This suggests a potential pest problem within the park that could significantly impact the comfort and hygiene of guests.
Due to these negative experiences, the reviewer ultimately decided not to stay at Mustang Creek RV Park and moved as soon as possible. They expressed their disappointment, stating, "I just can't say I would recommend this place," and urged the park to "Do better Mustang. Your park could have potential."
Based on these two reviews, Mustang Creek RV Park presents a mixed picture. On the one hand, it is described as a large park with a helpful property manager, full hookups, and owners who seem to care. It is conveniently located near Paris, TX, and is undergoing development to add more amenities. On the other hand, there are significant concerns regarding discrepancies between advertised and actual amenities (washers and showers), undisclosed utility limitations (capped electricity), park maintenance issues (high grass, waterlogged roads), unreliable internet service, and potential pest problems (roaches).
Given these conflicting experiences, local users searching for "RV parks near me" should approach Mustang Creek RV Park with caution and conduct thorough due diligence before making a reservation. It is essential to verify the availability and functionality of all advertised amenities, clarify the terms of utility usage (including any caps or additional charges), and inquire about the park's maintenance schedule and pest control measures. Contacting the park directly at (903) 706-8999 or +1 903-706-8999 is crucial to obtain the most up-to-date and accurate information.
As there is no mention of specific promotional offers in the provided reviews, potential guests should also inquire about any current discounts for short-term or long-term stays when contacting the park. Understanding the full cost of staying, including any potential utility overages, is important for budget planning.
In conclusion, Mustang Creek RV Park in Paris, TX, has the potential to be a convenient and well-managed RV park, as suggested by one reviewer. However, recent negative feedback regarding misrepresented amenities, maintenance issues, and pest problems raises significant concerns. Local users should carefully weigh these contrasting reports and prioritize direct communication with the park management to ensure it meets their specific needs and expectations before committing to a stay.

Jan 30, 2023 · Dj AntonacciWe made arrangements to move in under the idea there were washers/showers available and all utilities included. However, once we got there, no washers were there nor showers and once signing the agreement, we noticed electricity is capped. It would have been nice to know that before we agreed to stay. Also, the park had very high grass and water covering some of the roads. The internet stopped working while we were there, and I was told by the park attendant lady that I need to call on their internet myself to find out what the problem was. When we decided to move, we moved our smoker and about 20 roaches scattered everywhere. This could have been because the high grass and wetness. However, what about the ones that would climb on us at night when sitting outside? I just can't say I would recommend this place. We did not stay. We moved as soon as possible. I have never left a negative review on a park before. Do better Mustang. Your park could have potential.
