North Mills River Campground & Recreation Area Reviews
Amazing location in the mountains. Great hiking and fishing right next to the campsites. We used the group site and it was fantastic. Ample space and great service from the camp host. We will definitely be back.
Apr 08, 2025 · Gregory FieldsQuiet and peaceful. Me and four of my grandkids got a campsite in the free area. No one bothered us. We played all day in the creek that was right near our site and then went driving just inside the camp area and it was like being in a deep forest all by yourself. Even if not camping it's worth the drive
Jun 21, 2024 · Sherri HughesPretty, but extremely tight quarters! Definitely have ZERO privacy. And the only thing I’ll complain about is the showers were usually gross. If you took a shower super early in the morning, they were clean, but they clearly need to clean them more than just the once per day, with all those people using the only three showers that were open for use.. Also, the staff person they are allowing to live down there, in his big fancy camper, located at the entrance of the campground, is not just rude, but also extremely nosey and unwelcoming. And you better remember cash and don’t be a single penny short! Dude is a stickler when it comes to money. Just kinda took away from our entire good camping vibe we had going, before encountering him the couple times we did.
Jun 08, 2024 · Samantha ForeThis is a great campground! Unfortunately I was only able to stay one night. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and easily accessible. The campground host was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here!
Jun 26, 2024 · Riley HaleThe newer bathroom was very clean. I really liked the individual showers being in their own locked rooms. The campground hosts take much pride in keeping their campground clean and were bet friendly.
