Owens Brothers RV Park and Campground Reviews
We have been at Owen's RV Park for over 25 years. Mr. Dean Owens has built this place with nice concrete pads, a remote front gate, sewage and water connections, and, of course, electricity. It also has a nice pier with a private boat ramp, a fish cleaning station and a place to let boat passengers on/off from the pier. The main attraction for us is location! It is on the main part of the lake convenient to many prime fishing holes. Also, the park is located near a convenient store and a laundry mat. It is a short distance to Quitman if you need a hospital, grocery store, or hardware store. One of the most important features of the park is the people. Everyone is friendly and respectful. There is plenty of shade trees to sit under and visit with your neighbors!Come look around and see for yourself!
Jun 12, 2024 · Karen JohnsonOur family has been with Owen Brothers RV Park and Campground since it was established. Over the years, so many great memories have been made with family and friends. Whether out on the water or just enjoying the view of the open water from the shore, we absolutely love our weekends on the lake. You can store your boat right next to your RV or perhaps rent a garage boat storage unit just a couple minutes from the RV park. If you are a big time tournament fisherman, you will absolutely love the private boat ramp access versus waiting in line to launch at a public boat ramp.Dean Owens is always attentive and keeps the campground clean and well groomed. I appreciate having annual leases and not having to worry about random individuals coming and going in the park. Also, permanent living isn’t allowed which is a bonus of keeping everything clean. If you’re looking for a family oriented park to build memories, this is the one.

May 23, 2024 · Susan StokesWe have been leasing with Dean for about Five Years now. I like that he keeps a nice, quiet and safe Park. I use the boat ramp often and have never had problems with it or the dock/fish cleaning station that is provided. Dean has always been responsive to the few minor issues we have encountered. I enjoy sitting on our deck and watching the lake activity, birds, squirrels and chatting with folks out for a leisurely walk. It’s nice that the gates automatically close at night and open with a provided remote allowing 24/7 access.
