We watched the Solar Eclipse from Prouty Beach. They have restroom facilities open from May to September. There are paved walking paths and plenty of free parking. The lake is so beautiful and the water looks very clean. We were there in April during the Eclipse because Newport VT was in the Totality zone. We were able to view the total eclipse for over 3 minutes without eye protection. It was an incredible experience and the lake view was Beautiful.
