Piney Bend Riverfront Reviews
Had a really fun time down on the river, there were plenty of good banks to stop on our float and parts that felt like rapids which where a lot of fun. Really enjoyed using the fire pit at night making s’mores and watching stars and talking to friends. The beds inside the camper were comfortable and the air conditioning working just dandy, everything that I could think that I would need were inside the camper. The cabin look and felt like the best getaway spot so cozy and great ambient lighting, best thing about starting my morning and ending the night was using the phenomenal out door shower, showering under the stars where something I never thought that I would love to do.
Jul 13, 2024 · Angel ChaconThe cabin was everything we could ask for and more! So relaxing. The outside shower was one of my favorite parts. Kayaking was also a lot of fun! The cabin was very clean and cozy.
Sep 15, 2024 · jamie fierroThe cabin and the RV were so clean. They were also stocked with all the extras that you often forget to pack. And there is a small store on the porch you can buy some extras, or s’mores. The outdoor shower was my absolute favorite thing, but the view from the porch is hard to beat. Having AC on a hot summer night is amazing. Cooling off in the river during the day on a raft or kayak was fantastic. There is a spring close by for trout fishing, Uranus was super cute, there is a Walmart very close by. We had a fantastic time at this river front property I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a get away.
Jul 13, 2024 · Heather HightowerHad a very relaxing stay at the Piney Bend Riverfront cabin. Air Conditioning was a nice respite from the hot weather and the view from the cozy front porch was top notch! The decor was super cute, and the bed was comfy. Lots of little add ons such as tube rentals, firewood and a s'mores plate were great options for those who wanted a little extra out of their experience. The porch was perfect for relaxing. Even when we got a bit of rain, we were still able to enjoy the outdoors and the amazing view of the river instead of being stuck indoors. The picnic table and umbrella gave us plenty of room to prepare food outdoors, and eat our meals while enjoying a view of the river. Overall it was everything we were looking for in a little weekend getaway spot. The only downsides were minor and certainly wouldn't prevent us from staying here again, or suggesting it to our friends. Having a mirror indoors for things like putting in contacts, or making sure my hair wasn't a disaster would have been nice. Their website says "You will find everything you need inside the cabin to cook a full meal." However the kitchen lacked both a skillet, and a pot with a lid, so cooking an actual meal were a little more tricky than anticipated, since we brought with us neither of those things. (Next time we'll be more prepared). The only bigger problem was when we realized that the outhouse lacks some serious privacy at night. The "walls" that face the cabin are made of a rattan like shade material. While it's daylight out, it provides a decent enough amount of privacy, but at night time it's a whole different story. You can see right through the wall when the light in the outhouse is on and it's dark outside, giving everyone quite the show as you do your business. (Anyone who has looked into a brightly lit house from the outside when it's dark outside knows what I'm talking about.) Thankfully my husband and I have been married for quite a while and were able to laugh at the situation when it first happened. From then on, we just turned our backs if someone needed to use the facilities after sundown, and that little problem was solved.
Jun 30, 2024 · Christy G.One of the best stays. If you are looking for a relax, calm and quiet place to stay away from hustle bustle of the city, this is perfect. You can rent a kayak or a tube. Lacey is a great host. Very responsive, detailed on everything. She left us a small gift too, very lovely.
