Ponderosa Campground Reviews
We REALLY enjoyed our week here! We were in site 101 which is near the road but has an enormous grass area to enjoy. We loved it. The campground is in a great location - an easy walk to the center of town. And there is lots to see and do in Cody and the surrounding area. Staff at the campground were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back here the next time we are in Cody 👍👍👍
Sep 05, 2024 · Emily PiperWhat a wonderful campground. Clean and a very kind staff. It was also veterans friendly. We will be staying with y’all in the spring on our return to Yellowstone. We were in site 130. The Irma hotel was recommended for their prime rib dinner. They did not disappoint as it was awesome.
Oct 17, 2024 · Bill HopkinsVery nice and large RV park. Sites are close together but are level and have full hookups. Park and boathouse are super clean. It's located in town, so you can walk to Main St. Check in is easy and everyone is nice, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. There's small playground for the kids and an area for tents. Cody is a nice town with lots to see and do. Would definitely stay again.
Jul 30, 2024 · Bob GegenheimerNice shaded campground. Very friendly ladies at the front desk. All amenities were clean everyday. The only complaints were the tight sites and bathrooms. Showers way too cramped! Elbows took a beating every shower. Shower nozzles need updating. Hard to get a thorough rinse without standing on your head. Toilet paper holders need replacing. The paper will not roll freely, only hand rolling it off, all while in a cramped bathroom stall. Instead of looking forward to shower time, we dreaded it which kinda stinks.
Sep 26, 2024 · Amanda BrownWe were there from June 24 - July 1 2024. Loved that place. We will come again. The laundry room was big and had lots of machines. The gift shop was really nice and the employees were super nice. The park was located right in town, which concerned me at first. But it was so quiet there. The park was in the perfect spot to see everything. There was lots of shade and there were a few days where it was hot, but we had shade and that made all the difference. If you are a church goer, visit Cody House of Prayer. The pastor was really good.
