Information regarding the specific services offered for overnight camping at Powerhouse Park Campground is somewhat limited in the provided reviews, as one review seems to be from a day visitor. However, we can infer some potential services based on the fact that it is a campground. Typically, campgrounds offer designated campsites, which may include features like level ground for tents or parking pads for RVs. Given the mention of fishing, there might be amenities related to water access, such as boat ramps or fishing docks, although this is speculative. The presence of a playground and picnic table, as noted by a visitor who stopped for lunch, suggests that the park caters to recreational use, which often extends to camping facilities including picnic tables at campsites. While the reviews don't explicitly mention restrooms, showers, or hookups for RVs, these are common amenities at campgrounds, and local users should inquire about their availability when planning an overnight stay. The self-contained nature of the positive fishing and scenic views review might imply that basic camping needs are met, but it's crucial to confirm the availability of essential services for a comfortable camping experience. Contacting the local authorities or parks and recreation department in Columbus would be the best way to obtain detailed information about the services offered at Powerhouse Park Campground for overnight stays.

The overall impression from the reviews is that Powerhouse Park Campground is a place where one can enjoy the tranquility of nature, engage in fishing, and appreciate the scenic beauty of the area. Local users seeking a quiet and picturesque camping spot with fishing opportunities will likely find these features attractive. Given the positive feedback regarding the quiet atmosphere and scenic beauty, the inherent "promotion" is the promise of a peaceful and visually appealing camping experience. For local residents, the convenience of a nearby campground with these qualities could be a significant draw in itself. Powerhouse Park Campground Reviews
Perfect for fishing and amazing photos. It is a very quiet place and has a beautiful view.
Mar 09, 2025 · ANDYTO AGUILAThis place was really neat..my friend drove me there to stop for a quick lunch there is a little playground there with a picnic table to sit and eat at. I'm glad I got to see it. Thank you!! I came from Norfolk. ❤️
Jul 10, 2024 · Debby LeighWhat this place needs are several back in RV parking spots with 30 amp electric, water, and septic hookups. (and more trees)That will draw more travelers to the city and relieve the pressure on the other parks.
May 18, 2024 · Kansas DevilPeaceful but creepy with the drivers who park sitting in their vehicles and watch campers. One even drove up following me as I walked back to camp.It would be nice to have more police presence out there. An officer drove by outside of the park and I was hoping they would enter to at least do a drive-by, even better to check in on us, but he didn't. He just glanced over and kept driving, despite multiple vehicles clumped together with their lights on (which anywhere else, even a Walmart parking lot in the daytime, would draw suspicion and an officer to check-in). Perhaps some cameras would help keep people safer, and at least help to deter the crazies and criminal activity.
Jun 30, 2019 · Christina LThis campgtound needs help. No electricity or water. With those it would be a nice camp ground. Also LPPD is not cleaning bathrooms. Bad decision during Covid season.
