Riverside Park Campground Reviews
The park has a lot to do, basketball courts, playgrounds, and camper trailer parking. I hiked up to the Veterans Memorial and back. Went 4.8 mi 1 h 26 m. Very well kept trail. The trail follows the Big Blue River. It was very peaceful along the way.
Oct 01, 2024 · Jerry DunlapWhat a wonderful campground! This is a destination and not just a stopover. We came for one night and will stay for at least three. Beautiful park and trails. Concrete pads and full hookups all for $20.
Jul 26, 2022 · Mark DundasGreat camping venue with nice concrete pads and full hook ups up to 50 amps. Access to concrete bike/walking paths, group pavillion, bathroom/shower house, and fishing in the Big Blue river (that is really brown). 2017: $14 per night w/no reservations. Short drive to downtown Beatrice and shopping or eating.
Aug 29, 2017 · Duane HumlicekA very quiet city park in Beatrice NE. Just 4 miles from Homestead National Historical Park. The campground has full hookups for just $20. The sites are paved and flat. When we got there we were greeted by very friendly campground hosts who gave us the lay of the land. The showers had been recently vandalized but the hosts assured us they would be fixed very soon.On review I saw suggested people were living here full time (as opposed to camping)...I think that was for the other city park. This one does not appear to have long term residents. It's Saturday in early May and there are several open spots.
May 08, 2022 · Daniel RandolphNicely maintained park/campground, but VERY noisy. The basketball court is next to the camping sites and the local teens play ball well past 11pm. They play music, set off firecrackers, and yell loudly regardless of campers/tenters set up near by. If you want a good night of sleep, I would not recommend staying here.
