Rose Creek Campground & Cabins Reviews
Rooms is self provided however this campground provides almost everything else. The hospitality of the camp host really welcomed us to the area. The campground itself was pristine and had a bathhouse with very hot showers even in freezing night temperatures. My son caught an approximate 4lb bass in the fishing pond. We were out of season for the line but the area was adorable - definitely has potential. Overall the grounds and the price was perfect for our stay. We say many waterfalls, the best being south east and straight east however north and north east held plenty of explorable trails we did also visit.
Mar 31, 2025 · deesis nogudGreat stay camping. Just perfect for us I have a small camper 16 ft. Awesome to get into Franklin for a few days for hiking. The camp host Jerry was a super nice guy
Apr 09, 2025 · A.j. FayeEvery time we come to Rose Creek Campground we enjoy ourselves. We’ve tent camped here and then when we got an RV we’ve come back several times. I love feeling like I’m in the woods and not right next to a highway. They have an inground pool, little playground, dog park, big grassy area to play and run around, a fishing pond…and Jerry, the best host you could ever ask for! He was so kind and took care of us so well! Rose Creek is only a few minutes from downtown Franklin so it’s easy to go there but you feel off the main road enough that you can enjoy the sounds of nature.
Nov 06, 2024 · Heather BabbThe location was beautiful. Close to downtown Franklin as well. If you are traveling with more than two people however, I wouldn't recommend the wagons. They are better suited for 2 and you can hear EVERYTHING outside. If you're looking for a similar camping experience to tent camping, it's perfect. We brought the kids and it was a bit small and too "tent-like" for a family of four. They have a pool that is a nice size and doesn't seem to stay very busy and a little retention pond for fishing. It is a lot of fun and well maintained.
Aug 02, 2024 · Caison Blake LewisGreat communication with the staff - they were extremely responsive when I had a question or concern regarding our coming to the area days after hurricane Helene's destruction to the areas east of Franklin. We were concerned about being able to get from place to place (I attended a workshop in Highlands and would travel daily) and if our presence would consume resources that the community required. Shelby was very informative and assured us we would be welcome. When we arrived we were able to find a campsite (other than the one we booked) that was more to our liking, all it required was a quick call and we were accommodated! Excellent service.Mr. Jerry, the campsite host, was wonderfully helpful, cheerful and kind (especially when I accidentally locked us out of the camper :/ and suggested a locksmith he had used in the past.) In a different reviewer's comments, they stated that the bathhouse was very dirty - I was there when Mr. Jerry came by to check on things and he asked me if everything was alright, I had no issues with the state of the bathhouse - after all, it's CAMPING, people, not the Ritz. That said, I would return in a heartbeat, great people, beautiful location and the quietest, darkest campground we've experienced. We even experienced the Aurora Borealis - a bucket list experience!
