In terms of services and amenities, Sanger / Denton North KOA Journey appears to be well-equipped for RV travelers. A significant "pro" mentioned by a reviewer is that the sites are concrete, providing a stable and clean surface for RVs and tow vehicles. The sites are also described as having "plenty of room" for both the unit and an additional vehicle, which is a valuable feature for those traveling with larger setups. The mention of being an "RV Park next to McClains RV Sales" further suggests a focus on catering to the needs of RV owners. While the reviews don't explicitly detail the hookups available at each site, the concrete pads imply well-established infrastructure, likely including at least electrical and water hookups. Beyond the RV amenities, KOA Journey campgrounds typically provide a variety of services to enhance the camping experience. Super beautiful campground. Sites are concrete with plenty of room for our unit and a tow vehicle. Quiet, relaxing place.

Mar 30, 2025 · Mark CinaWe had a very nice stay over 4th of July while we visited Kaboomtown! It was a very quiet campground and our site even had some shade from a big tree. Paved roads were great for the kids bike riding and we loved fishing down at the pond! Bathrooms were good size but wish the shower heads had been a bit better in the women's rooms. My husband said the men's room ones were not bad. Staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was nice and clean. Its set back from the highway but you do still hear a bit of the traffic not terrible unless there is a semi-truck that appeared to have an engine fire while you are there, like we did! The tires exploding could be heard throughout the park! We were just traveling through but would definitely recommend if you need a quick stop!
Jul 17, 2024 · Tara UrsinoWe stayed 2 night in a pull through site with our 5th wheel. It was hot and the sites are pretty far from the laundry and bathrooms. Did not try the pool. It was a bit hot to do much. However, it was nice to be near enough to Dallas Fort Worth but away. It is off the highway a bit so it was enjoyable.
