Based on the available customer reviews, Steeles Campground appears to foster a strong sense of community and offers a welcoming environment. One particularly detailed account highlights the extraordinary support and understanding shown by the campground management and fellow campers to a group who faced significant travel issues while trying to book an event in both 2021 and 2022. Despite having to cancel their bookings due to unforeseen vehicle problems, the campground went above and beyond by offering to help transport their truck back home after it broke down en route in 2022. This act of kindness allowed the group to proceed with their visit in 2022, and they expressed deep gratitude for the support and for not being given up on. They also mentioned plans to return in August 2023, indicating a highly positive and memorable experience.
Another review describes Steeles Campground as "nice" with "quiet evenings." This suggests a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, which can be a significant draw for those looking to escape the noise and bustle of everyday life. The reviewer also noted a "nice variety of booths / vendors" and "good food," indicating that the campground hosts events or has on-site facilities that include vendors and food options. This could add an extra layer of interest and convenience for campers, providing opportunities for shopping and enjoying local fare without having to leave the campground. Steeles Campground Reviews
2021 booked an event at the campground was forced to cancel due to generator issues.2022 booked an event at the campground again broke down on the way with a blown motor forced once again to cancel. However at the last minute the campground offered to help us get the truck back home if we would have the wrecker bring the truck to the camp grounds..So off Mr Sprinkle went on a tow truck to Steele's camp grounds to keep our booking with the fine people.Let us us say when we were finishing up our visit we we're humbled and grateful to the campers and the people who run the campgrounds not only for their support they showed us but their understanding and not giving up on Mr Sprinkle. We shall see you again August 26-2023
