Sugar Sands Campground Reviews
We stayed for the first time on Memorial Day weekend, we had a great time. Ms. Donna is amazing, she goes above and beyond to make your stay a good time. Was really pleased with it, we will definitely be back. Loved being able to just relax and watch the kids having fun swimming and fishing. Look forward to our next visit, hopefully soon.
Jun 01, 2024 · Cindy BeckDonna goes above and beyond for our group. Our second year. Tucked away from city lights, this campground has what we love, beautiful views, peaceful quiet nature, a beach and creek to kayak, clean bathrooms, gathering place for us to mingle in inclement weather, nightly campfire circle, pull throughs with full hook ups. Just 6.5 miles north of Interstate 10 at Exit 57. Great for overnight, but, you may decide to stay longer to relax and enjoy the creek.
Mar 28, 2024 · Rennie KnollsI was there to work on a shut down. Paid for a month but only stayed a week. The owner said she does not do refunds on time not used. I lost over $400.00. To which they kept. I would advise anyone who stays there to only pay weekly. This owner is basically a thief who keeps people's hard earned money. Do not stay there only if there is nowhere else to stay. Trust me I learned a lesson and never encountered such a corrupt owner in my life
Nov 13, 2024 · Christopher BritlandWe came in for memorial weekend and we were so surprised at how great of a spot it is to camp and such a great place to get away. The creek is absolutely wonderful. Donna the manager/owner is absolutely awesome and Answers her phone every time we have called. Absolutely a must come and see and stay.
May 25, 2024 · Angel PattonDonna, the owner makes this campsite very nice and friendly. She is fixing up this little hidden gem. It is a work in progress but what she has done is good. We would like to go back during the summer when the water is warmer. She was very nice and accommodating. And we'll go out of her way to help you out. Thanks again, we will be back!
