The primary service highlighted in the reviews pertains to the reservation process for members. One reviewer specifically praised the online reservation system, particularly the "chat person named Karen." This individual reportedly provided excellent assistance, walking the member through the 90-day ahead reservation process for Bass Lake in a simple and efficient manner. The reviewer contrasted this positive experience with potentially frustrating interactions with "grumpy voice people" often encountered when making reservations, emphasizing the value of the user-friendly technology and helpful support. Another long-term member also had a positive experience using the new online chat option to book a specific site at their favorite location, Rocky Fork Ranch, for the upcoming 2025 season. This suggests that Travel Resorts of America is investing in technology and customer service to streamline the reservation process for its members.
The core feature of Travel Resorts of America is its membership model, which provides access to multiple campgrounds. The reviews indicate that these campgrounds, such as Bass Lake, Rocky Fork Ranch, and Walleyworld, are distinct locations that offer camping opportunities. The fact that a member has been with the organization for almost nine years and has favorite locations suggests a degree of consistency and quality across the network. The mention of an "updated website" that is "still under renovation" indicates ongoing efforts to improve the member experience, particularly in terms of online site selection. Currently, while the website is being updated, members can utilize the online chat feature to get assistance with booking specific sites.
The reviews do not contain any specific promotional information regarding membership deals or incentives for new members. However, the positive experiences shared by existing members, particularly regarding the ease of making reservations through the online chat and the appeal of locations like Rocky Fork Ranch, could be seen as indirect endorsements. The emphasis on user-friendly technology and helpful customer service might be a key selling point for Travel Resorts of America.
For local users in the Southern Pines, NC area considering "camping near me," Travel Resorts of America offers a different model than traditional public or private campgrounds. It provides access to a network of resorts that may be located beyond the immediate vicinity of Southern Pines, as evidenced by the mentions of Bass Lake, Rocky Fork Ranch, and Walleyworld. The positive feedback about the reservation process, especially the helpfulness of the online chat agents like Karen, suggests a focus on member satisfaction.
To fully understand the benefits of a Travel Resorts of America membership, local users would need to inquire directly about the locations of their various resorts, the amenities offered at each, the different tiers of membership available (if any), the associated costs, and the terms and conditions of the membership. Travel Resorts of America Reviews
I just did my 90 day ahead reservation for Bass Lake and I had a great experience with the website that allowed me to do it all through a chat person named Karen. She did an excellent job of walking me through everything and it was so simple.Much better than some of the grumpy voice people that you get When you are stressed out, trying to make reservations. Great technology love it thank you so much
Apr 03, 2025 · Rhonda WallaceI have been a member now for almost 9 years and just love Rocky Fork Ranch the most and second would be Walleyworld. I just had to use the new chat option online because the updated website is still under renovation as it will not let you choose your exact site. So I chatted with agent Karen who was wonderful. She was kind and helped me find the exact dates for the site I love. I am so excited to return to rocky fork for my opening of camper and first trip of season 2025.
Mar 18, 2025 · anitaR1828I was having trouble booking a suitable site at Gettysburg Resort for the near future and I chatted with Karen and she helped me tremendously. I liked the old system where one could pick your site from those available. It is a lot less stressful to see the site that is picked for you before you confirm in case that site is not suitable. Karen did a wonderful job helping me.
Mar 21, 2025 · CharlesWriting to give a thumbs up review for Harrison, who helped me navigate online reservation issues I was having (my fault). He was available almost instantly on the Chat feature. Resolved the issues within 5-10 minutes on two occasions. Thanks.
Apr 28, 2025 · Bill HorneFor years. I made reservations by telephone; so that is my default. I was advised to use your Chat Room option, and it was WONDERFUL. Response was reasonable, easy to communicate, and responsive to our needs. I was glad to be reminded to use the Chat Room option. Could not ask for better service. Kudos!!!
