Nov 20, 2024 · Lashae WeikleWe enjoyed a relaxing weekend here. We set up right next to the river. Nice trails to walk or ride. The people here were friendly and laid back. We look forward to returning. We met the owner- Kenny and the Security- Rich.Very peaceful, we heard owls across the river.
Apr 21, 2025 · Melisa MillerAwesome campground. The owner is nice and helpful. They do have rv hook ups, but we went tent camping. The camp grounds itself is super nice, quiet and beautiful. If you love nature this is the place. We got to pick our our own spot right on the river. They have bathrooms and showers a washing machine, bbq pit, books, and firewood. Plenty of fishing in the river. Caught some good ones. I highly recommend and will be back.
Jun 06, 2023 · Vincent RousseauTrent River, a beautiful place to go any time of year. Plenty of wildlife and flora for anyone to review, deep flowing river fishing, open fields that feature an abundance of wild turkey and at night bear witness to the clearest view of the stars you’d ever find, Shady Forests surround the entire area taking you away and far from the roads sheltered by Pines, Oaks, and other deciduous trees. This place is absolutely stunning and still has magic every time you go. Forget what you’ve heard or seen in the reviews here about the bathrooms, you don’t go camping for a proper restroom. Although they have definitely improved over time and have hot showers (don’t find that everyday.). Other than the occasional cigarette but, this place is extremely clean too. There’s a residence area and a tenting area that are so vast in folks with great personality you can’t ever not have a cold one and a laugh. Place is very kid friendly too. Folks are genuine, Prices are fair. And definitely worth a visit. A great place to make your home base of operations if you’re looking for an escape from the fast life.Even if you’re not sure about the place, give it a try. You won’t regret it. Best fishing is between 6pm and 1am. Catfish are out in force. 18-24inchers are in abundance, you can land them all night. Bowfin, largemouth and brim are also lively out here, the cats smack hard on chicken livers and shad dip bait.
Jul 07, 2022 · Project Paleo ProductionsIf tranquility and excitement had a baby, they’d call it Trent River Campground! From the moment I pulled in, I felt like I’d stepped into a postcard—complete with towering trees, serene river views, and the occasional curious squirrel who might as well have been a camp host. (Seriously, they’re so friendly, I’m convinced they’re on payroll.)The campsites? Perfectly spaced—close enough to chat with your neighbors but far enough that they won’t hear you snore after too many s’mores. Speaking of which, their fire pits are a pyro’s dream: just the right size for a roaring blaze that’ll make your hot dogs feel like royalty. The river? Oh, don’t get me started. It’s like Mother Nature installed her own lazy river just for us. Whether you’re kayaking, fishing, or just dipping your toes in, it’s impossible not to feel like a serene wilderness guru. (I even caught a fish that was this close to being Instagram-worthy, but it gave me a look like, “Let me go, dude,” so I did. Pure heartwarming magic.)The amenities? Immaculate. The bathrooms were so clean I thought I’d stumbled into a 5-star hotel lobby. And the staff? It’s like they’re psychic—they know exactly what you need before you even ask. Lost your marshmallows? They’ve got spares. Need directions to the best sunset spot? They’ll map it out with a smile.By the end of my stay, I was half-convinced I should just sell my house and move here permanently. Trent River Campground isn’t just a place—it’s a lifestyle, a vibe, a getaway that makes you wonder why you don’t camp more often. If you’re on the fence about visiting, hop off that fence, grab your gear, and prepare to be hypnotized by the magic of the Trent!
