Trinity Adventure Park Introduce
For local residents seeking "camping near me" that combines a convenient location with riverside access and a welcoming atmosphere, Trinity Adventure Park in Big Bar, CA, presents an interesting option. Situated at 31030 CA-299, Big Bar, CA 96010, USA, this campground, reachable at (530) 623-3964 or +1 530-623-3964, has garnered positive feedback regarding its new ownership and on-site amenities, while also presenting some areas for potential improvement.
According to recent customer reviews, Trinity Adventure Park boasts new owners who are described as "friendly and awesome people." This suggests a positive shift in management and a potentially enhanced guest experience. A significant draw for returning visitors is the presence of an on-site store, offering convenience for campers who may need to purchase supplies or snacks. The campground's proximity to the river is also a major advantage, allowing for easy access to water-related activities and scenic views. After a day spent by the river, the store's soft serve ice cream is highlighted as a particularly enjoyable treat.
In terms of connectivity, while cell service at the campground is reported to be spotty, Trinity Adventure Park offers WiFi access at the store. This can be a valuable amenity for campers who need to stay connected, check emails, or share their experiences online, at least within the vicinity of the store. This blend of natural immersion with the availability of internet access in a designated area caters to a range of camper preferences.
The environment of Trinity Adventure Park is described as "nice" and "directly next to the river." This prime location offers the sights and sounds of the river, as well as the potential for activities such as swimming, fishing, or simply relaxing by the water's edge. The natural surroundings of Big Bar, CA, are likely characterized by the scenic landscapes of Northern California, providing a picturesque backdrop for a camping getaway.
However, not all aspects of the campground receive glowing reviews. One visitor noted that the restrooms were "not very inviting and full of cobwebs," suggesting a need for improved cleanliness and maintenance in this area. Additionally, the hot showers require tokens, and during one visitor's stay, the hot water was not working. This indicates a potential inconvenience or additional cost associated with showering, and a possible issue with the reliability of the hot water system. Prospective campers may want to inquire about the current status of the shower facilities before their visit.
In terms of services, Trinity Adventure Park offers the convenience of an on-site store, which is a significant feature not always found at campgrounds. The availability of soft serve ice cream is a unique and appreciated amenity. The provision of WiFi at the store caters to the connectivity needs of some campers. However, the reported condition of the restrooms and the potential issues with the hot showers are points to consider. The fact that hot showers require tokens suggests an additional fee beyond the basic camping rate.
While specific promotional offers are not mentioned in the provided reviews, the positive feedback regarding the new owners and the enjoyable experience of returning visitors speaks to a level of customer satisfaction. The combination of riverside camping, an on-site store, and the availability of a sweet treat like soft serve ice cream can be seen as inherent promotional aspects that enhance the overall camping experience at Trinity Adventure Park.
For local users searching for "camping near me" that offers direct river access and the convenience of an on-site store, Trinity Adventure Park presents a compelling option. The friendly new ownership and the availability of WiFi at the store are additional perks. However, potential campers should be aware of the reported condition of the restrooms and the potential limitations with the hot showers. It may be prudent to contact the campground directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about the current status of these facilities and any other relevant information before making a reservation.
In conclusion, Trinity Adventure Park offers a riverside camping experience in Big Bar, CA, with the added convenience of an on-site store and friendly new owners. The availability of soft serve ice cream and WiFi at the store are notable features. However, prospective visitors should be aware of the reported issues with restroom cleanliness and the potential limitations of the hot showers. By considering these aspects and potentially contacting the campground for the latest information, local users can determine if Trinity Adventure Park aligns with their preferences for a "camping near me" getaway that combines natural beauty with on-site conveniences.

Trinity Adventure Park Reviews
New owners are friendly and awesome people. We camp here every year and enjoy the grounds and the store. After a day on the river their soft serve ice cream is the best! Spotty cell service but there is WiFi at the store.
Jun 26, 2022 · Kevin LThe Campground is nice and directly next to the river. But the restrooms are not very inviting and full of cobwebs… You need tokens for a hot shower (but the hot water wasn’t working when we were visisting)
Sep 19, 2024 · Anna ZuchsRiver rafting ....great swimming... A must do while on trinity area
May 14, 2022 · ilima frequencybiocence (Greetings)The kids and husband loved their rafting trip and I got some cool crafts at the store
Jun 17, 2022 · Janet HoldsclawThis is a nice little RV Campground. They have power, water and a spot for a sewer dump.Cons:1. You need coins to use the shower (one of the most miserable experiences in my life really).2. Internet costs extra as well and works only inside the main building.3. The trees and plants seem like they haven’t been watered in quite a while.Still the quiet location makes up for it.
