TTT RV Resort Introduce
For local residents in the Kerrville, Texas area seeking "camping near me" options, particularly those with recreational vehicles, TTT RV Resort, located on Bandera Hwy in Kerrville, TX 78028, USA, warrants consideration. However, it is crucial for potential local users to be aware of recent customer feedback regarding the resort's condition, services, and management practices to make an informed decision about their stay.
Location on Bandera Highway in Kerrville: TTT RV Resort's location on Bandera Highway places it within the vicinity of Kerrville, a city known for its access to the Texas Hill Country's natural attractions and local amenities. This location could be advantageous for local RV owners seeking a conveniently situated park that allows them to explore the surrounding scenic areas, including the Guadalupe River and nearby state parks. The accessibility from Bandera Highway also suggests ease of travel to and from the resort for local residents.
Customer Feedback and Areas of Concern: Recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture of the current state of TTT RV Resort. Multiple issues have been raised that potential local users should carefully consider:
- Increasing Rates Without Corresponding Improvements: One long-term guest noted that rates, including electricity costs, have increased without any noticeable improvements to the facilities. This suggests a potential decline in value for money, which is an important consideration for budget-conscious local campers.
- Deteriorating State of Repair: The resort is described as being in a "sad state of repair," indicating potential neglect of the grounds and facilities. This could impact the comfort and overall experience of staying at TTT RV Resort.
- Overburdened Maintenance Staff: While a "great maintenance man" is acknowledged, the review points out that this single individual is likely overwhelmed with the amount of repairs and outside care required. This situation could lead to delays in addressing maintenance issues and a general lack of upkeep throughout the resort.
- Feral Cat Population: The presence of an "overrun" population of feral cats is mentioned, which could be a concern for some guests due to potential noise, hygiene issues, or allergies. The contrast with the strict leash policy for guest dogs is also highlighted.
- Unusable or Poorly Maintained Lodge: The "lodge," intended as an amenity for guest enjoyment, is reported to be in poor condition. The lack of carpet for two years, an unusable kitchen, and malfunctioning lights suggest that this communal space is not a viable amenity for guests. The fact that its use is considered a "privilege" despite its condition further detracts from its value.
- Poor Ground Conditions: The grounds are described as being in "bad shape," with many trailers situated in mud. This could lead to difficulties in navigating the resort, damage to RVs, and an unappealing aesthetic. Sporadic mowing further contributes to the negative impression of the grounds.
- High Storage Fees and Inflexible Guest Policies: The review mentions a significant charge for storing a small trailer for visiting friends and a lack of flexibility regarding parking for a disabled guest, even when numerous sites were vacant. These instances suggest potentially rigid and unfriendly policies towards guests and visitors.
- Perceived Focus on Profit Over Maintenance: The reviewer expresses the opinion that the owner is primarily focused on extracting money rather than investing in the upkeep of the resort, leading to its current state of disrepair despite its potential and location.
- Negative Comparison to a "Ghetto": The harsh comparison to living in a "ghetto" underscores the level of dissatisfaction expressed by at least one long-term guest regarding the current conditions at TTT RV Resort.
- Concerns About Privacy: The comment about the manager potentially sharing guests' private information raises serious concerns about privacy and trust.
Given these detailed and critical reviews, local users searching for "camping near me" should approach TTT RV Resort with caution and a clear understanding of the potential issues they might encounter.
Environment and Potential: Despite the negative feedback regarding its current state, the location on Bandera Highway in Kerrville still holds potential. The natural environment of the Texas Hill Country remains an attractive draw, and a well-maintained RV resort in this area could offer a pleasant experience. However, the current reviews suggest that TTT RV Resort is not presently capitalizing on its location.
Services and Features (Based on Negative Feedback): Based on the customer reviews, the current state of services and features at TTT RV Resort appears to be lacking:
- Maintenance: While a capable maintenance person exists, they are likely under-resourced.
- Lodge: The communal lodge is reportedly in disrepair and not a usable amenity.
- Groundskeeping: Mowing is infrequent, and the grounds are generally in poor condition, often muddy.
- Pet Policy: Dogs are required to be on leashes, but a significant feral cat population is present.
- Guest Services: Policies regarding visitors and disabled guests appear inflexible and potentially costly.
There is no positive information available in the provided reviews regarding specific amenities or services that might appeal to local users.
Lack of Promotional Information: The provided text does not contain any information about promotional offers or special rates at TTT RV Resort. Given the negative feedback concerning the resort's condition and management, it is unclear whether any such promotions are currently in place or would be advisable for potential local campers to consider without significant improvements being made.
Recommendation for Local Users: For local residents seeking "camping near me" in Kerrville, it would be prudent to exercise significant caution before considering TTT RV Resort based on the overwhelmingly negative recent customer feedback. Potential users should:
- Seek More Current Information: Look for more recent reviews on various platforms to see if conditions have improved.
- Consider Alternative Campgrounds: Explore other RV parks and campgrounds in the Kerrville area that may have more positive recent feedback regarding their maintenance, amenities, and management.
- If Considering TTT RV Resort, Inquire Directly and Thoroughly: If TTT RV Resort remains a possibility, contact them directly with specific questions about the current state of the facilities, maintenance schedules, pet policies, and any fees for visitors. Request recent photos of the grounds and amenities.
- Potentially Visit the Property Before Booking: If feasible, consider visiting TTT RV Resort in person to assess its condition before committing to a stay, especially for longer durations.
Conclusion for Local Camping Needs: While TTT RV Resort is located in a potentially desirable area for local "camping near me" in Kerrville, the strong negative feedback regarding its deteriorating conditions, increasing rates without improvements, and questionable management practices should give potential local users significant pause. It would be advisable to thoroughly investigate the current situation and compare it with other available camping options in the area before making a decision.

TTT RV Resort Reviews
Second winter staying here.....rates have gone up...electricity has gone up...nothing improved.....sad state of repair....they have a great maintenance man that can't possibly keep up since he is the only one doing repairs and outside care....overrun with feral cats...but make sure your dog is on a leash....the "lodge" that is for your enjoyment hasn't had carpet for 2 yrs...can't use the kitchen....half the lights are out....and it is a " privileged" to use.....the grounds are in bad shape....most trailers sit in the mud.....mowing is very sporadic..... Most patrons have left....would think this would give them a clue...had friends come to visit before we left.....was going to charge us 60.00 to store their Little enclosed trailer for 5 days.....our disabled daughter came for 4 days we were told she couldn't park in the empty lot right next to us...It was ",rented"...course no one ever showed up.....and there are 20 + other empty sites..owner is just sucking the money out. Sad it could be a nice place in a great location.....if you want to live in the Ghetto come here. If you want everyone to know your business tell the manager.
