Boy Scouts of America, Bear Creek Scout Reservation Reviews
It was the best place ever. I really had an excellent experience with the staff during summer camp. They are absolutely accommodating and helpful.
Jun 30, 2024 · alliedstorm20My scout had the best summer camp. Zipline, pool, big slides, shooting, archery, and fishing. Looking forward to coming back
Jun 25, 2023 · Joe TexFrom my experience, it is an amazing camp, staff are so nice and very helpful, kitchen staff works there butt off to feed all our hungry friends, the activities are spread apart but they give you time to get to each class
Jun 16, 2024 · JOSHUA LEALThis camp is Mentally and Physically challenging alone. Starting with where your campsite is located. Ours was up high, so it was a ways to Dinning Hall, our 1/2 mark, then still had to travel down to the Valley for classes. The classes are too far apart, need to plan the classes as close together so the campers don't get to exhausted especially with this Texas heat. Lunch at times didnt seem important from the thought of having to go back up and down, of just having to do it again for dinner then again to head to our campsite. But I can say this, if you can get through this camp, all others are a breeze. This camp felt more like bootcamp.
Jul 01, 2023 · Alma GarciaI'm a Boy Scout myself and this was possibly the worst experience I've faced.the scenery was amazing. But only four people were allowed in the trading post and there is a maximum capacity at the river. (20 people). Also if you are trying snorkeling. Good luck. They don't clean there equipment. Also the tents are good but they are daddy long leg infested I recommend you bring repellent. Also the slip n' slides were fun but like I said there's a maximum capacity. I remember one of the ladies were counting us and there's was 21 people. One person was left out and he had to leave with his partner all the way back to camp. If you are coming here for your very first scout camp. Don't come. Go to another scout camp
