The campsites themselves are also praised. The reviewer's campsite (#45) was described as "spacious" with "a little shade" and an "overall a great setup." The presence of some shade is a welcome feature, especially during warmer months. The positive assessment of the campsite setup indicates attention to the needs of campers.
The restroom facilities at Tule Campground are reported to be "relatively clean and well-maintained." While generally positive, the reviewer did note a couple of minor inconveniences: the absence of soap dispensers and an inconsistent supply of toilet paper. These are practical considerations that potential visitors might want to keep in mind, perhaps bringing their own hand soap and extra toilet paper as a precaution.
Despite these minor suggestions for improvement, the overall impression of Tule Campground from this first-time camping family is overwhelmingly positive. They stated they "would absolutely stay here again!" and described the campground as "clean, well-kept," with "fantastic" camp hosts. Their final recommendation is strong: "It’s a perfect getaway for families looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend!"

The campground is also described as "dog friendly," which is a significant plus for travelers and families who like to bring their pets along on their outdoor adventures. The fact that it was "nice and quiet in the off season" might appeal to those seeking a more peaceful and tranquil camping experience during less popular times of the year.
Perhaps one of the most compelling aspects for budget-conscious travelers is the price mentioned by this reviewer: "$22 a night." They concluded that this rate was unbeatable for the amenities and environment offered: "Can’t beat it for $22 a night." Tule Campground Reviews
This was my family’s first time camping, so I was a bit nervous and unsure of what to expect. However, Tule Campground exceeded all our expectations. We stayed at the end of March, and the campground was absolutely beautiful, green, and with perfect weather. There are a couple of playgrounds, plenty of picnic and BBQ areas, and rentals for fun on the water, which made it a great spot for families. Our campsite (#45) was spacious, had a little shade, and was overall a great setup. The bathrooms nearby were relatively clean and well-maintained, though I do wish they had soap dispensers and a more consistent supply of toilet paper.Overall, I would absolutely stay here again! The campground is clean, well-kept, and the camp hosts were fantastic. It’s a perfect getaway for families looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend!
Mar 30, 2025 · Richard GuerreroWhat an excellent spot to refresh during a roadtrip! We do a lot of boondocking in our four wheel camper, and we like a campground after a few days to catch a hot shower. Tule Campground offered amazing views of rolling hills, hot showers, and beautiful grounds to walk through. Dog friendly, well maintained, and nice and quiet in the off season. Can’t beat it for $22 a night.
Apr 25, 2025 · Amanda LaCroixLMost of the campsites aren’t very well-shaded, but we were lucky to get site #79, which was perfect! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There are lots of ground squirrels in the area. The showers weren’t very clean, but we used our own, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The lake is beautiful, and there are various water activity rentals available. As the weather warms up, expect quite a few bugs around.
