Ponderosa Mobile Home Park Introduce
Are you currently searching for 'RV parks near me' in the Anaheim, California area? It is important to thoroughly research potential locations to ensure a comfortable and positive living experience. Ponderosa Mobile Home Park, situated at 2300 Lewis St, Anaheim, CA 92802, USA, has received some concerning feedback from its residents, which should be carefully considered by anyone looking for a long-term RV or mobile home living situation in this community.
One of the most significant issues raised in the customer reviews pertains to parking. A resident states, "This place has zero street parking, and no other parking available at all whatsoever." This lack of parking can create substantial inconvenience for residents and their visitors alike. The reviewer further elaborates on the restrictive parking rules, noting that "residents are not allowed to park in the guest parking which is extremely inconvenient if you want to allow an elderly family member or someone with belongings to park in the driveway." This policy appears to limit accessibility for visitors and can pose challenges for residents with mobility issues or those needing to unload items.
The management, specifically identified as "Angelica the manager," is also a subject of concern in the reviews. The resident describes the manager as "extremely rude" and claims that residents are falsely told they can park in guest parking. Such allegations of rudeness and misrepresentation can significantly detract from the quality of life within a community, potentially creating a hostile or unhelpful environment for residents.
Furthermore, the rules and regulations at Ponderosa Mobile Home Park are described as "ridiculous" and "insane." The reviewer mentions specific issues such as unreasonable restrictions on awnings and yard work. They also highlight a lack of privacy between homes due to limitations on barriers, with a requirement to purchase specific "sheet metal" from an unspecified source. The issuance of "notices and warnings even if your yard is nice and kept" suggests an overly strict and potentially arbitrary enforcement of these rules, causing unnecessary stress for residents who strive to maintain their properties.
Another significant concern raised is the frequent disruption of essential utilities. The reviewer states that "Water and power is turned off with barely a days notice or no notice at all for hours on end." Such interruptions can severely impact the daily lives and comfort of residents, especially without adequate prior notification. The lack of timely communication regarding utility outages demonstrates a potential disregard for the residents' convenience and well-being.
Adding to the negative experiences, the reviewer mentions disruptive infrastructure work: "They will tear up the roads with zero notice, and restrict access to even your own driveway by blocking it with construction crews." This lack of communication and consideration for residents' access to their homes further contributes to the overall negative impression of the park's management and living conditions.
The concluding remark from this resident is a strong warning: "Horrible place to live overall. Neighbors are also very rude." While the rudeness of neighbors is subjective and not directly attributable to the park's management, it contributes to the overall negative sentiment expressed in this review.
A second review raises even more serious allegations regarding the park's staff and management, specifically concerning towing practices. This reviewer claims, "Staff at this place Rob's there customers and venders by towing cars parked legally. They then put burden of proof on towee." Such actions, if true, indicate a predatory practice that can result in significant financial burden and stress for residents and their visitors.
The reviewer further alleges that "Management has hired a tow service to do drive by's all night and tow from faded curbs with no signs anywhere." This description suggests a deliberate effort to tow vehicles, potentially for financial gain, even in situations where parking legality is questionable due to faded markings and a lack of clear signage. The comparison to other trailer parks that utilize security guards to advise on parking restrictions highlights a perceived lack of proactive and considerate management at Ponderosa Mobile Home Park.
The most गंभीर allegation is the claim of financial impropriety: "It is common knowledge that management along with there assistants receive stipends from tow company officials including the driver." If substantiated, this would represent a significant breach of trust and ethical conduct, suggesting a potential financial incentive for the aggressive towing practices at the park.
Given these overwhelmingly negative reviews highlighting issues with parking, management rudeness, unreasonable rules, utility disruptions, disruptive construction, and questionable towing practices, anyone searching for 'RV parks near me' in Anaheim, CA, should exercise extreme caution when considering Ponderosa Mobile Home Park. The feedback suggests a potentially stressful and unpleasant living environment with significant inconveniences and questionable management practices.
Prospective residents are strongly advised to seek alternative 'RV parks near me' in the Anaheim area and to thoroughly investigate any potential community by visiting the site, speaking with current residents (if possible), and carefully reviewing all available feedback before making a decision. The issues raised in these reviews indicate a potentially problematic living situation at Ponderosa Mobile Home Park.
In conclusion, the online reviews for Ponderosa Mobile Home Park in Anaheim, CA, paint a concerning picture. Significant issues have been reported regarding parking availability and rules, the rudeness and alleged dishonesty of the manager, strict and unreasonable community regulations, frequent utility disruptions, disruptive infrastructure work, and potentially predatory towing practices. These factors collectively suggest that Ponderosa Mobile Home Park may not be a desirable option for those seeking a comfortable and hassle-free long-term RV or mobile home living experience in Anaheim. Thoroughly researching alternative 'RV parks near me' is strongly recommended.

Ponderosa Mobile Home Park Reviews
This place has zero street parking, and no other parking available at all whatsoever. The residents are not allowed to park in the guest parking which is extremely inconvenient if you want to allow an elderly family member or someone with belongings to park in the driveway. Angelica the manager is extremely rude and tells residents they can park in guest parking, but that is obviously a lie. Ridiculous rules about awnings and yard work that are insane. They won’t allow any residents to have any kind of barrier between homes for privacy other than some type of sheet metal that you purchase from god knows where. They will give you notices and warnings even if your yard is nice and kept. Water and power is turned off with barely a days notice or no notice at all for hours on end. They will tear up the roads with zero notice, and restrict access to even your own driveway by blocking it with construction crews. Horrible place to live overall. Neighbors are also very rude.
