The environment of Weborg Point Campground is a significant draw, particularly for those dreaming of "camping near me" with direct water access. One enthusiastic reviewer described Weborg Point as "amazing," highlighting the fact that there are "only about a dozen sites, with the outer ring being on the waterfront." This limited number of sites suggests a more intimate and less crowded camping experience compared to larger campgrounds. The coveted waterfront locations offer campers the opportunity to enjoy stunning views, the soothing sounds of the water, and potentially direct access for activities like kayaking or simply relaxing by the shore. For those prioritizing a scenic and serene environment for their "camping near me" getaway, Weborg Point appears to be a prime choice.
Recent upgrades to the facilities at Weborg Point Campground further enhance its appeal. The construction of a "new bathroom (with showers)" is a significant improvement that adds comfort and convenience for campers. Clean and modern restroom facilities are often a high priority for those seeking a pleasant camping experience. Additionally, the reviewer noted an "attached room" to the new bathroom, speculating that it might be available for rent for parties or other gatherings. If this is the case, it could provide a unique amenity for local users looking for a "camping near me" location that can also accommodate small events or group activities.
Another notable recent addition is the "amaizng new 4-lane full station/dump site with lots of space for queuing." This modern and well-designed RV station is a significant benefit for those traveling with recreational vehicles. The multiple lanes and ample queuing space are designed to prevent bottlenecks and ensure a smooth and efficient check-in/check-out process, as well as easy access for essential RV maintenance tasks like dumping waste. This thoughtful infrastructure demonstrates a commitment to providing a positive experience for RV campers seeking "camping near me" in Door County.
Beyond the facilities, the overall atmosphere of Weborg Point Campground is described as "more private, quiet." This is a significant advantage for campers who value tranquility and a sense of seclusion during their outdoor retreat. The limited number of sites likely contributes to this peaceful ambiance, allowing campers to relax and connect with nature without the noise and bustle often associated with larger campgrounds. For local users seeking a restful and private "camping near me" experience, Weborg Point seems to offer an ideal setting.
Adding to the charm of the location is the easy "walk to a pier with great views." Access to a pier provides opportunities for leisurely strolls, enjoying panoramic vistas of the surrounding waters and landscape, and perhaps even fishing or simply enjoying the sunset. This feature enhances the waterfront experience and offers an additional recreational option for campers staying at Weborg Point. The "great views" mentioned by the reviewer suggest that the pier is a scenic spot worth visiting.

The limited number of campsites, many of which are directly on the water, provides a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the natural beauty of Door County. Weborg Point Campground Reviews
Weborg Point was amazing. There's only about a dozen sites, with the outer ring being on the waterfront. They just built a new bathroom (with showers) which also has an attached room I assume is for renting for parties or whatnot. Plus, they just put in an amaizng new 4-lane full station/dump site with lots of space for queuing so the entrance/exits aren't blocked and to keep things moving along during check-in/out.

Jul 15, 2021 · Daniel BozarthThe only complaint was the paths on the campsites to the water could be better
