Oct 24, 2024 · Gregory C.I am going to leave a review saying how terrible this place was because I don't want everybody knowing about it.I come to Arkansas several times a year to ride trails over by Byrds Adv park or Mill Creek. I wanted to try Buckhorn OHV so I just picked Whisky Springs at random and what a gem. Perfectly located away from the busy parking lot but has two trail heads at the entrance to the property. The camp grounds has several (5 or 6) RV or tent sites with 30 amp power and water hook ups or you can choose from 3 cabins of different sizes. There is also a very clean bathroom/shower house and the cutest little outhouse if that's your thing. There was a very large central fire pit with a can crusher on a tree and a grill top for cooking over the fire pit if you have a large group or small weber grills at each cabin for smaller groups. As far as the owners, they met me when I pulled in and showed me down to the campsites. Tommy and his wife were so down to earth and nice that we ended up talking for probably an hour. Tommy even loaded me up in his side by side to show me around the property and make sure I knew where the trail heads were.A nice little side note, they are right on the TAT if you are coming thru.Another little side note. They only take cash. There is very little phone service (I could send a text but not a picture) so they cant run cards. I had to run into town to find an ATM and that's like a 40 minute round trip. Not that big of deal due to the fact that I needed to get some groceries anyway and the drive was beautiful. Will definitely be back....I mean it was horrible, don't go there.
