Artic RV Park Introduce
Welcome to Artic RV Park, located at 893 US Hwy 101, Milepost 75, Cosmopolis, WA 98537, USA. For those exploring "RV parks near me" in the Cosmopolis area of Washington, Artic RV Park offers a distinctly unique experience, setting itself apart with its integrated bar and restaurant serving as the park's office. Based on the enthusiastic reviews from recent visitors, Artic RV Park is characterized by its welcoming hospitality, affordability, and a surprisingly quiet camping environment despite the presence of an on-site pub.
One of the most immediately striking features of Artic RV Park is its unconventional office setup. As one reviewer noted, "The office is the bar and restaurant. Has a unique little charm to it." This integration suggests a social and perhaps more informal check-in process, potentially offering a chance to interact with locals and other travelers right from the start. While the reviewer had not yet spent the night at the time of their initial comment, they astutely raised the potential for noise from the bar at times, a factor that prospective overnight guests might consider.
However, subsequent feedback from the same reviewer, as well as others, addresses the noise concern. One visitor explicitly stated, "The campsite was really quiet after dark, easily able to sleep," indicating that the potential for rowdiness from the bar does not seem to extend into the camping area during sleeping hours. This is a crucial piece of information for those seeking a peaceful night's rest after a long day of travel.
Artic RV Park has garnered significant praise for its exceptional hospitality, particularly towards hikers and bikers. One reviewer recounted, "Was awesome of them to allow a hiker/backpacker to use the bicyclist site for less than $20 for the night." This demonstrates a willingness to accommodate non-traditional campers at an affordable rate, a refreshing contrast to some private campgrounds that may have stricter site-type restrictions. The reviewer specifically appreciated that Artic RV Park was unlike places that would turn away hikers/backpackers or require them to pay for a regular RV site when only a smaller "bike" site was needed.
The theme of outstanding hospitality is echoed by another visitor who simply stated, "The hospitality other reviews speak of…spot On." This reinforces the idea that the owners and staff of Artic RV Park are known for their welcoming and helpful nature, creating a positive experience for their guests.
One particularly heartwarming anecdote comes from a long-distance hiker who stopped at Artic RV Park. They first visited the pub to inquire about a campsite and found the process "really easy." Following this, they enjoyed a "super tasty Blue Cheese n Bacon burger and a couple drinks" to celebrate a significant milestone in their journey. This highlights the convenience of having a restaurant and bar on-site, offering weary travelers a place to refuel and relax without having to venture elsewhere.
This same hiker also provided valuable details about the campsite facilities, noting that "The shower does take a quarter. A Quarter…for 5 minutes! Not $2 for a shower. Not a Quarter a minute. A quarter for 5! 50Cents gets ya 10 minutes. Can’t beat that really." This information about the affordable shower cost is a significant positive for budget-conscious travelers and stands out as a particularly generous offering compared to some other RV parks.
The hiker's review concludes with a strong recommendation for fellow travelers passing through the area: "If you are hiking or biking through….tired? hungry? want a drink? up for conversing with the locals? Be sure to stop." This encapsulates the unique appeal of Artic RV Park as not just a place to park or camp, but also a potential social hub and a place to connect with the local community.
Adding to the exceptional hospitality, the hiker shared a truly touching experience: "And the owners even gifted me a food care pkg right before I went to sleep. A couple of #humanswithwings I tell ya." This act of kindness goes above and beyond typical RV park service and further solidifies the reputation of the owners as genuinely caring and generous individuals.
Considering the environment of Artic RV Park, the presence of a bar and restaurant on-site creates a unique social atmosphere. The campsites themselves are reported to be quiet after dark, suggesting a separation that allows for both socializing and peaceful rest. While details about the size and layout of the RV sites are not extensively covered, the mention of "bicyclist site" and the accommodation of a hiker indicate flexibility in catering to different types of travelers and camping setups. The overall environment seems to be one where hospitality and a sense of community are prioritized.
In terms of services and features, Artic RV Park offers campsites with quiet evenings. The availability of a bar and restaurant on-site is a significant convenience, providing meals and drinks. The affordable shower facility (25 cents for 5 minutes) is a notable amenity. The willingness to accommodate hikers and bikers with budget-friendly site options is another feature that sets this park apart. While specific details about RV hookups (water, sewer, electricity), Wi-Fi availability, laundry facilities, or other common RV park amenities are not explicitly mentioned in these reviews, the positive experiences suggest that the basics are likely covered, with the exceptional hospitality being the standout feature.
Promotional information is not explicitly stated in the provided reviews. However, the positive word-of-mouth, particularly regarding the welcoming attitude towards hikers and bikers and the affordable shower costs, serves as a form of implicit promotion. To inquire about specific rates, availability, RV hookup details, and any potential discounts or special offers, interested individuals should contact Artic RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers: (360) 589-1780 or +1 360-589-1780.

The exceptional hospitality, particularly towards hikers and bikers, and the surprisingly quiet campsites after dark, make it an appealing stop for a variety of travelers. The incredibly affordable shower facility is another significant draw. While detailed information about all standard RV park amenities is not available in these reviews, the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the owners and the overall experience suggests that Artic RV Park is a hidden gem worth considering for your travels in the Cosmopolis area.

The office is the bar and restaurant. Has a unique little charm to it. Have not spent the night yet so we'll see how quite it is as you know a bar can get rowdy at times.

Jul 28, 2022 · #WalkingThroughThePain Seth CunniganLoved this great little campground. RV sites have some space and greenery in between so you're not right on top of each other. Nice, clean bathrooms with coin op showers, and a rec building for rainy day activities. Beautiful, fairly easy hike around the grounds and along the river.
Sep 04, 2019 · Shannon MaloneDONT RENT HERE! This place is next to a nasty bar and loud as hell. There were employees doing drugs in the back. RUDE As HELL! After Setting everything up we were told we can only stay 1 night. WORST PLACE EVER! SONEVER RENT HERE AGAIN.
Dec 29, 2024 · Kellie BraziealAccommodated us for one night. Wish they had free shower rather than the coin operated. The owner was friendly. No Wi-Fi. Do have pub as part of site so convenient rather than going out for dinner via drive.
