Bedrock Aspen Terrace Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local residents in the Daytona Beach, Florida area exploring long-term housing options, particularly within mobile home communities, it's essential to consider a range of factors, including the environment, maintenance, and community atmosphere. While our platform primarily focuses on "RV parks near me" for short-term recreational stays, we aim to provide relevant information to our local users who may also be interested in learning about mobile home parks in their vicinity. Bedrock Aspen Terrace Mobile Home Park, located at 171 Acapulco Ln, Daytona Beach, FL 32117, USA, presents a community with contrasting feedback from its residents, indicating a need for careful consideration by potential newcomers.
Situated in Daytona Beach, Florida, Bedrock Aspen Terrace Mobile Home Park benefits from its location in Volusia County, a region known for its famous beaches, tourist attractions, and a mix of residential and commercial areas. While the specific environment within Bedrock Aspen Terrace isn't extensively detailed in positive terms, one review does mention that "the people are very welcoming and respectful," suggesting a potentially positive social aspect to the community. However, another review paints a less favorable picture of the overall environment, stating that the park is "not well taken care of" and that "the houses are mostly dilapidated looking," indicating potential issues with the aesthetic appeal and maintenance of the properties within the park. This discrepancy highlights the importance of a thorough personal assessment for anyone considering living in this community.
Information regarding the specific services and amenities offered at Bedrock Aspen Terrace Mobile Home Park is limited in the provided reviews. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for the homes. The negative review mentions that "the grounds are not very well kept by the owner," which raises concerns about the level of maintenance for common areas within the park. While the lot rent is described as "fairly inexpensive by today's standards," this affordability is juxtaposed with the negative assessment of the park's upkeep and the condition of the homes. The positive review focuses on the welcoming nature of the residents but does not provide details about park services or amenities. Prospective residents should contact the management directly to inquire about the specific services offered, such as waste disposal, lawn care for common areas, and any community facilities that might be available.
The features of Bedrock Aspen Terrace Mobile Home Park, as described by the residents, present a mixed bag. On the positive side, the welcoming and respectful nature of the people living in the community is a significant feature, potentially fostering a friendly social environment. However, the negative review raises serious concerns about the park's overall condition, describing the houses as "mostly dilapidated looking" and the grounds as "not very well kept." This suggests a potential lack of consistent maintenance and upkeep by the owner, which could impact the quality of life for residents. The reviewer also expresses a negative opinion about the surrounding area, stating that it is "not worth sacrificing your retirement" despite the relatively inexpensive lot rent. This suggests that factors beyond just the cost of living should be considered.
The negative review also includes a concerning account of an interaction with a real estate agent from "Four-star realty" who was allegedly unprofessional and dishonest while trying to sell a unit within the park. This experience, while not directly about the park itself, could reflect the overall market conditions or the types of properties available for resale within Bedrock Aspen Terrace. The mention of a sub-flooring structural issue being hidden from a potential buyer and the observation of remodeling efforts to fix "sub-standard units for resale" further underscore the potential for significant maintenance issues with some of the homes in the park.
Promotional information or specific details about lot availability, the types of mobile homes accommodated, or community events are not provided in the available reviews. For local users interested in learning more about Bedrock Aspen Terrace Mobile Home Park, including current lot rental fees, any specific requirements for residency, and the management's plans for addressing the maintenance concerns, it is crucial to contact them directly at (386) 281-3834 or +1 386-281-3834. When you call, be sure to inquire about the current state of the park's upkeep, the average condition of the homes, any rules or regulations regarding property maintenance, and the management's responsiveness to resident concerns. It would also be beneficial to ask about the social atmosphere and any community activities that might be organized.
In the context of local users searching for "RV parks near me," it is important to understand that Bedrock Aspen Terrace Mobile Home Park is a mobile home community designed for long-term residency rather than short-term recreational vehicle stays. The contrasting experiences shared by residents highlight the importance of conducting a thorough personal inspection and gathering detailed information before making any decisions about living in this community. While the affordable lot rent and the welcoming nature of some residents might be appealing, the concerns about the park's upkeep and the condition of the homes are significant factors that should not be overlooked.
For local individuals seeking a long-term living option in a mobile home park in Daytona Beach, Florida, Bedrock Aspen Terrace presents a situation that requires careful evaluation. The affordability of the lot rent may be attractive, but it is essential to weigh this against the reported issues with the park's maintenance and the condition of the homes. The positive feedback about the welcoming residents is a plus, but prospective residents should prioritize a visit to the park to assess the current living conditions firsthand and speak with current residents (if possible) to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the community.
While our platform focuses on "RV parks near me," we strive to provide relevant information to our local users exploring various housing options. Bedrock Aspen Terrace Mobile Home Park offers an affordable option in Daytona Beach, but the significant concerns raised in one of the reviews necessitate thorough due diligence by potential residents to ensure that the community meets their standards for long-term living.

Bedrock Aspen Terrace Mobile Home Park Reviews
Not well taken care of. The houses are mostly dilapidated looking and the grounds are not very well kept by the owner. The lot rent is fairly inexpensive by today's standards, but the area is not worth sacrificing your retirement. The real estate agent also was not very good. Four-star realty doesn't care about selling a good product, they just want to get the properties off their hands. The agent we called was about 45 minutes later than she was supposed to be. I had to call her to find out if she was going to show at all. Then she was only interested in showing us 1 unit and tried to sell it to us knowing right well there was a sub-flooring structural issue. She tried to hide it from us. Someone who was doing some remodeling in the park on one unit told us he was there trying to fix up some of the sub-standard units for resale. You couldn't pay me to live here.
