The only positive thing I have to say, is most of the tenants are friendly and kind, it was like a community with those that do socialize! The moms were all welcoming, and we made some lifelong friends!BUT. The washers are always covered in mold/mildew, and generally just a layer of yuck. I was having to clean them regularly myself, as a paying tenant, before I could wash my children's clothes. The agitator is broken in one, and we had many clothes with torn holes from it.The dryers, rarely ever both work. At least one dryer was always broken. There are only two washers, and two dryers. No fence, right off a very busy road with a lot of oilfield traffic. The owner is very particular about your belongings, you can't have them visible from the front and you can't move things in your own yard. While bugs are expected - my child ended up with a severe infection covering both legs from chiggers, after playing in our yard. There's very little grass (but a lot of stickers!) so it's always muddy and everything will be covered in a layer of dirt.Lastly, and this is the only reason I'm taking the time to leave a review..The owner will kick you out with less than a months notice- without reason, and won't even have the decency to speak to you in person.Knowing full well you have a two year old going through chemotherapy, in addition to three other young children. We always paid rent on time, a few times- more than our rent amount- as we rounded up.We cleaned up the RV park frequently- nails, screws, broken glass, litter, pulled weeds from the gravel, offered to help with whatever they needed, and communicated efficiently with either Matt or Leslie when need be.Unfortunately, we aren't the only ones with recent complaints. We thank the good Lord every day for bringing us to Beecham, as we met our very best friends and got our footing and stability. But we will recommend elsewhere to anyone looking for a place to stay longer than a couple days!Pecan Grove in Chickasha is fantastic and worth the extra 20 minutes. It is clean, paved roads, big and nice laundry rooms, bathrooms, and storm shelters. There is a really nice kids park, and dog park. They refill propane, and the tenants and owners are very kind and respectful.Hopefully in time, Beecham will become more family friendly and clean for those looking to stay in Blanchard! - Abby Gordon

Beecham RV Park Introduce

For local users exploring "RV parks near me" in the Blanchard, Oklahoma area, Beecham RV Park, located at 2075 County Street 2970, Blanchard, OK 73010, USA, presents a complex picture based on the available customer reviews. While some residents have found a welcoming community and positive interactions with the owner, others have raised significant concerns regarding the park's amenities, cleanliness, safety, and management practices. This introduction aims to provide a balanced overview based on the provided feedback to help local users make an informed decision.

One of the frequently mentioned positive aspects of Beecham RV Park is the sense of community among some of the tenants. Reviewers have described the atmosphere as friendly and kind, with a welcoming environment, particularly among mothers. This social aspect can be a significant draw for individuals and families looking for a sense of belonging while living in an RV park. The formation of "lifelong friends" suggests a supportive and sociable environment for those who actively engage with their neighbors.

However, the positive social aspects are contrasted by several significant concerns raised about the park's amenities and maintenance. A recurring issue is the state of the laundry facilities. Customers have reported that "the washers are always covered in mold/mildew, and generally just a layer of yuck." This lack of cleanliness is a serious concern, especially for families needing to wash children's clothing. One reviewer mentioned having to personally clean the machines before use. Furthermore, one of the two washing machines reportedly had a broken agitator that caused tears and holes in clothing. The dryers also appear to be unreliable, with at least one of the two often being out of service. The limited number of machines (two washers and two dryers) further exacerbates these issues.

Safety is another area of concern highlighted in the reviews. The park reportedly has "no fence" and is located "right off a very busy road with a lot of oilfield traffic." This lack of a physical barrier and the proximity to a busy road with potentially heavy vehicle traffic could raise safety concerns, especially for families with young children or pets.

Management policies at Beecham RV Park have also been a point of contention. One reviewer described the owner as "very particular about your belongings," stating that residents are not allowed to have items visible from the front of their RV and face restrictions on moving things within their own yard. Such restrictive policies regarding personal belongings and yard space could be a significant drawback for those who value personal expression and functionality in their living area.

The natural environment within the park also appears to have issues. While bugs are expected in outdoor settings, one child reportedly developed a "severe infection covering both legs from chiggers" after playing in their yard. This suggests a potentially high presence of pests. Additionally, the lack of grass ("very little grass but a lot of stickers!") contributes to muddy conditions, resulting in everything being "covered in a layer of dirt." These environmental factors could impact the quality of outdoor living and the cleanliness of RV interiors.

Perhaps the most concerning issue raised in the reviews pertains to management practices regarding tenancy. One former resident reported being "kicked out with less than a months notice- without reason, and won't even have the decency to speak to you in person," even while knowing they had a two-year-old undergoing chemotherapy and three other young children. This account raises serious questions about the stability and consideration provided to long-term residents, even those who consistently paid rent on time and actively contributed to the park's upkeep.

Despite these numerous negative experiences, one reviewer offered a contrasting perspective, describing the owner, Matt, as "the best landlord I've ever had." This individual mentioned receiving help setting up their RV and described the park as "quite, good neighbors and very peaceful," recommending it as a place to call home. This positive review highlights that experiences at Beecham RV Park can vary significantly.

The stark contrast between the reviews suggests that while some individuals may find the community and the owner's assistance beneficial, others have faced significant challenges related to the park's infrastructure, cleanliness, safety, and management policies. The recommendation to look elsewhere for longer stays, specifically mentioning Pecan Grove in Chickasha as a cleaner and more amenity-rich option, further underscores the concerns raised by some former residents.

In conclusion, for local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Blanchard, OK, Beecham RV Park offers a potentially friendly tenant community and, according to one review, a helpful owner. However, prospective residents should be aware of the reported issues, including unclean and unreliable laundry facilities, a lack of fencing near a busy road, restrictive rules regarding personal belongings, potential pest and mud problems, and concerning accounts of abrupt evictions. The significant discrepancies in the reviews suggest that individual experiences at Beecham RV Park can vary widely. Local users are strongly advised to contact the park directly at (405) 314-1757 or +1 405-314-1757 to inquire about the current conditions, policies, and amenities, and perhaps even visit the park to assess whether it meets their specific needs and expectations for a long-term or even short-term RV stay in the Blanchard area. The strong recommendation from one former resident to consider alternative parks in the vicinity warrants careful consideration before choosing Beecham RV Park.
