When considering "RV parks near me," it's important to research various aspects of a community, including the management's approach, the overall environment, available services, and the experiences of current residents. Brookside Manor presents a mixed picture based on the limited customer reviews available online. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the management's strict enforcement of rules, citing instances of threatened eviction despite timely payments and potential towing of a vehicle with a flat tire on the resident's property. This perspective suggests a potentially rigid and perhaps unsympathetic management style regarding certain community regulations.
Conversely, another, more detailed review offers a very positive experience at Brookside Manor. This resident highlights the affordability of the community, particularly in comparison to renting a house, and praises the easy move-in process into a new home. They specifically commend the helpfulness and support of the management, noting their efforts to make the residents feel at home and even assisting them in purchasing their property. This positive account paints a picture of a management team that is supportive and goes the extra mile for its residents.
The second review also touches upon community aspects, acknowledging that some noise from music and neighbors is to be expected in any community living situation. However, they found nothing to be "outrageous." One specific concern raised is the overcrowding of the community pool by individuals who do not live in Brookside Manor, suggesting a potential lack of enforcement regarding amenity access. The resident also mentions frequent pool maintenance, which they speculate might be related to the high usage. Despite this concern, they advise against negative reviews, emphasizing the affordability and value offered at Brookside Manor, especially when considering the general cost of living elsewhere.
For individuals specifically looking for "RV parks near me," Brookside Manor's status as a mobile home park necessitates direct inquiry to determine its suitability for recreational vehicles. When you contact them, be sure to ask about:
- RV Site Availability: Does Brookside Manor have designated RV sites or allow RVs within the community? What is the current availability and are there any size restrictions?
- Hookups and Amenities for RVs: What types of utility hookups are available for RV sites (e.g., water, electricity, sewer)? Are there any specific amenities for RV residents, such as laundry facilities, restrooms, or waste disposal?
- Lot Sizes and Accessibility for RVs: What is the size and layout of any potential RV sites? Are they easily accessible for different sizes of recreational vehicles?
- Community Rules Regarding RVs: Are there specific rules and regulations that RV residents need to adhere to within Brookside Manor?
- Pricing and Lease Terms for RVs: What are the rental rates for RV sites? Are there options for short-term or long-term stays? What are the terms of any lease or rental agreements?
- Pet Policies for RV Residents: If you have pets, inquire about their policies regarding pets for RV residents.
Given the contrasting experiences in the reviews, it would also be beneficial to inquire about the management's approach to rule enforcement and resident concerns. Understanding their policies on vehicle maintenance and guest access to amenities like the pool can help potential residents form a clearer picture of the community environment.

Brookside Manor Reviews
They are up our butt about everything tried to evict us twice but we made out payment this place always complaining about something my truck broke down for about a week they was threatening to tow my truck. My truck got proper plates but because I had a flat tire they threatened to have it towed. So if you're car breaks down they will tow your vehicle even if it's in your own driveway.
Apr 16, 2025 · Barry WeldyWe really love living here! The economy being as it is made us give up on buying a house and renting a place we needed was even more awful. I happened to get an email from Brookside one day saying they had a deal for move in and to my amazement, we got approved for a brand new place. The process was super easy, everyone has always been beyond nice. For the first time in years, we had a home. I see people complain about music and neighbors but that just comes with the territory. There’s never been anything outrageous. A few months into renting, they offered to help us purchase our home and we decided that was the best thing for us to do, and again, they were great we got approved and now we are home owners! I could not be happier! They’ve really went out of their way to make us feel at home and to help us out. Only thing that really gets on my nerves is when we go to the pool and it’s over flowing with kids and people (which I expect) and I hear them talking about how they don’t live there and that someone dropped them off. I wish they had a keyfab system of some kind in place to prevent it from being a public pool instead of a community pool. It also seems to be down for maintenance often and it might not have to be down so much if it wasn’t crowded as much, (I know I sound totally Karenish here). That aside, don’t listen to the people saying it’s a bad place or it’s expensive. Everywhere is expensive. At least here you get more for your money.
Jun 24, 2024 · Jen MarkLove it here but hate the dang loud base music the park allows day and night. People park their cars in driveway with it over decibal city limits, drive through here all times of the night, no peace, start having maintenance patrol it. Write down who is doing it, give them 2 warnings, 3rd time eviction. No respect for close neighbors.
Jun 16, 2024 · NatalieThe only bad thing that I know of as a visitor is the roads and speed bumps need some work with visibility. All the homes seem to be in good condition. Nice lawn care is done by the residents. The yard areas don't appear to cluttered. The pool area looks a little small but neat and the fencing is well maintained. It's quiet 99% of the time.I believe I would enjoy living within this mobile home community.
Feb 20, 2024 · Lawre NewmanIf I could give zero stars I would worst place to ever live. Your better off renting a card board box to live in. You'll get written up for no reason management has threaten to call the cops on me because I argued with her over a write up about improper trash can when I was using the trash can provided by sun home community through their trash company. Maintenance does not fix the stuff when it's broken you are treated like trash by management not to mention all the shootings the place has the first week of living there. There was a double homicide and you cannot break a lease once you sign they will tell you it will cost you double to brake the lease rather then to pay it out for the year and they constantly jack up the rent prices I was personally told by office personnel that it was due to them not wanting to rent to people anymore they just want people to buy so they jack up the prices every year so people will either by the home or move out you can get a mortgage payment cheaper and easier then renting from this place I wouldnt even buy the trailers they are crappy, if you lean on a wall to hard you will go right through it. They also steal your deposit. You will never get it back
