CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Cameron, Texas area, you might come across CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY, located at 1005 E 3rd St, Cameron, TX 76520, USA. You can contact them at (512) 250-9882 or +1 512-250-9882 for inquiries. It is important to note that CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY is primarily a mobile home park, and while it might accommodate some RVs, potential residents should carefully consider the information available from customer reviews before making a decision.
Based on the limited feedback available online, there appear to be significant concerns regarding the living conditions and environment within CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY. One review paints a rather negative picture, describing the community as "awful" and a "slum." The reviewer alleges that the owners provide inadequate upkeep, with mentions of a falling-down fence and infrequent mowing. Furthermore, this review raises serious allegations regarding the presence of "lots of illegals and crime" and the issue of renters' pets roaming freely. It is crucial to acknowledge that these are serious accusations from a single reviewer and may not represent the experience of all residents. However, they should prompt potential residents to conduct thorough due diligence and seek further information.
The same negative review also criticizes the accuracy of any promotional pictures, suggesting that the actual condition of the community does not align with potentially favorable marketing materials. This highlights the importance of visiting the property in person to gain an accurate understanding of its current state before committing to living there.
Another reviewer focuses on a significant environmental factor: noise from nearby trains. This review states that trains run approximately every 15 minutes on certain days, throughout the day and night. The proximity of the cross tracks, estimated at about 75 yards away, reportedly makes the noise level "very LOUD," potentially to the point of being disruptive. The reviewer suggests that this noise level could be overwhelming for individuals not accustomed to frequent train traffic. However, they also acknowledge that for those already used to such an environment, it might be acceptable.
This second review provides some additional details about the physical characteristics of the mobile home park. It is described as "small with dirt roads." Dirt roads can present challenges in terms of dust, maintenance, and overall aesthetic appeal, particularly during dry or wet weather conditions. Potential RV residents should consider the implications of dirt roads for their vehicles and the general cleanliness of the park.
On a more positive note, the second review mentions that the area is a "good family area because there are a lot of kids." This suggests a potentially vibrant community with a family-oriented atmosphere. For RVers traveling with children or those who appreciate a lively neighborhood with young families, this could be a potential advantage. However, it is essential to balance this with the other concerns raised in the reviews.
Considering the conflicting and largely negative feedback, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive overview of the services and features of CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY. The first review suggests a lack of adequate maintenance, which could imply limited services or poorly kept amenities. The second review focuses primarily on the environmental noise and the nature of the roads, without mentioning specific services or features.
As a potential option for "RV parks near me," CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY appears to present significant drawbacks based on the available reviews. The serious allegations of neglect, safety concerns, and disruptive noise levels should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating living there in an RV. While the presence of a family-friendly atmosphere might be appealing to some, it is unlikely to outweigh the potential negative aspects for many RV travelers seeking a peaceful and well-maintained environment.
Given the information available, it is impossible to offer any positive promotional information for CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY. Instead, the focus must be on presenting an objective assessment based on the provided reviews, which unfortunately highlight several critical issues.
For individuals still considering CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY as a potential RV living option in the Cameron, TX area, it is strongly recommended to take the following steps:
- **Visit the property in person:** This is crucial to assess the actual conditions of the park, including the state of the infrastructure, cleanliness, and overall environment. Pay close attention to the condition of fences, landscaping, and roads.
- **Observe the noise levels at different times of the day and night:** If train noise is a concern, spending time near the park can help you determine if it is tolerable for your personal preferences.
- **Inquire directly with the management about the concerns raised in the reviews:** Ask about their maintenance schedule, security measures, and pet policies. Their responses can provide valuable insight into how they address these issues.
- **If possible, speak with current residents:** Hearing firsthand accounts from individuals currently living in the community can offer a more balanced perspective beyond the online reviews.
It is essential to approach CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY with caution based on the available feedback. While it is listed as a mobile home community at the provided address, its suitability as a desirable "RV park near me" is questionable given the serious concerns raised by former residents. Potential RVers may find it more beneficial to explore other RV park options in the Cameron, TX area that have received more positive feedback regarding their environment, services, and overall management.
In conclusion, the available information suggests that CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY may not be an ideal choice for those seeking a well-maintained and peaceful RV park experience in Cameron, TX. The allegations of neglect, safety concerns, and significant noise pollution warrant careful consideration and thorough investigation before making any decisions. Potential residents are strongly advised to conduct an in-person visit and gather more information before considering this community as their next RV living destination.

CAMERON MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY Reviews
Awful. Have family on the street and it's slum! Owners do little to keep up, fence falling down, rarely mowed, and lots of illegals and crime. Renters pets up and down the streets lose. The pictures...lol. Never looks that good. I'd give it a zero if I could!
Jul 30, 2023 · Jeanie H.I wouldn't recommend this mobile home park. Trains run about every 15 minutes or so on certain days all day and into the night and the cross tracks are about 75 yards away so yeah.... Very LOUD. Enough to drive you insane. But if you are use to it then this is your dream area. The mobile home park is small with dirt roads. This is a good family area because there are alot of kids.
