To provide local users with a detailed and objective introduction to Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground, it's crucial to analyze the feedback shared by previous visitors. The available reviews highlight both the appealing aspects and the limitations of this campground, offering a balanced perspective for potential guests.
One reviewer described Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground as a "Nice campground!" but noted a significant characteristic: "We were the only RV that wasn't living there." This suggests that the park may have a high number of long-term or permanent residents, which could influence the overall atmosphere and community feel for short-term travelers. On the positive side, the reviewer mentioned that "the cost is cheap!" making it an attractive option for budget-conscious RVers. However, they also pointed out some significant limitations regarding amenities: "Just keep in mind that you get a spot with power, fresh water and sewer. There are no showers or WiFi." This lack of essential amenities like showers and internet access is a crucial factor for potential guests to consider. The reviewer also issued a warning about pests: "Also, watch out for ants, they are all over the place!" indicating a potential issue with insects on the property.
Another reviewer offered a more positive overall impression, describing Cedar Lakes RV Park as a "Nice quiet little RV park." This contrasts slightly with the previous reviewer's observation about the number of long-term residents, perhaps indicating a peaceful environment despite this. A significant positive highlighted by this reviewer is the natural setting: "Lots of trees and very shady." This would be particularly appealing in the Florida climate, offering a cool and comfortable environment for campers. They also mentioned a unique feature: "There's a little paddle boat on the island free to campers to take around the spring." This suggests a recreational opportunity and a natural water feature within the campground that guests can enjoy. This reviewer stayed for one night and "enjoyed it," indicating a positive experience despite the potential limitations mentioned by the other reviewer.
Based on these reviews, Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground offers a mixed bag of features. The affordability ("cheap cost") and the natural, shady environment with "lots of trees" are significant positives. The presence of a spring with a free paddle boat adds a unique recreational element. However, potential guests must be aware of the limited amenities, specifically the lack of showers and WiFi, and the potential issue with ants. The observation that most RVs appear to be occupied by long-term residents might also influence the experience for short-term travelers.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground could be an attractive option if budget is a primary concern and the lack of showers and WiFi is not a deterrent. The quiet, shady environment and the availability of a spring with a paddle boat offer a more natural and potentially enjoyable camping experience. However, the presence of a significant number of long-term residents and the ant issue should be taken into consideration.

However, potential guests need to be prepared for the lack of showers and WiFi and should take precautions against ants.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who prioritize a quiet, natural setting and affordability over comprehensive amenities, Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground in Milton, FL, could be a viable option. The presence of a significant number of long-term residents might foster a sense of community for longer stays but could also mean a different atmosphere compared to parks primarily catering to transient travelers. Oct 01, 2023 · CG3Only had one night but was great! Fully immersed in nature and Tim is super nice… we will go back for sure!
Nov 12, 2023 · Vanessa BIf you like quite simple country living this is the place to be. We'll kept rv site, lots of room and walking paths, trees, water springs. Internet connection is not the best but who needs it if you can enjoy sound of nature and serene atmosphere. Tim - owner is very friendly and does good job keeping it neat and improving his park. Highly recommend it
Apr 16, 2024 · Gina J.Everytime I come into the area, I check Cedar Lakes FIRST to see about availability. I'm not looking for a resort with a laundry list of amenities, but rather the peace and quiet this campground provides. Sites are level and pull-thru. Easy in and out. I love walking around the mostly undeveloped property. Lots of wildlife too. The owner is meticulous about keeping the campground maintained. I'll be back!
