Just finished a 4 week stay at Vacay Village featuring beautiful grounds and amenities. The owner lives onsite managing a warm, responsive, and professional staff. The facility has a pool, hot tub, outdoor grill, and club house and is more like a resort than an RV park. This is a top notch family oriented resort suitable for all ages. We were completely satisfied with every aspect of our stay and only 20 minutes from great Pensacola beaches and wonderful food. Vacay Village and staff get a full Five Star rating!
Mar 09, 2025 · Steven BrownI've stayed here a couple of times now. It's a short 15-20 min drive to the white sandy beach. If you don't want to leave the campground you don't have to. The pool is crystal clear and refreshing, an amazing hot tub for the eevening, and the clubhouse has movies and games for all ages. The management is so helpful and friendly. It's one of my favorite places to go. If you're looking for a fun and relaxing place to vacation with friends or family or have children this is the place to go. I recommend 10 out of 10.

May 01, 2025 · Dominick MoranoWe stayed in site 5 for January and February 2025. This back-in site along the 8-foot privacy fence on the park's west side has full hookups, a level concrete pad, and a small brick patio. It is located between two rental campers, which are both nice. The clubhouse and amenities are just steps away, and it was a quiet site. We supremely enjoyed our time there!Vacay Village has incredibly dedicated staff who do an amazing job of making you feel welcome! The owner and employees live on the property, so it is their home, too, and it shows. We used the pool, hot tub, and sauna almost every day, and they were always clean and never down for service or maintenance during our stay. The bathrooms and facilities were also always clean and tidy. The Vacay staff hosted several gatherings during our stay. One highlight was a pizza night, where the staff created custom pizzas for everyone with any toppings we desired for one low price. One of them even shared their secret family pizza crust recipe with us! The pies were expertly cooked by another team member in a wood-fired pizza oven on the back patio. Needless to say, it was some of the best pizza we'd ever had! Additionally, they hosted bonfire nights, a lasagna dinner, and a seafood boil (that we sadly missed) but we heard it was fantastic. We made friends with the staff and some other campers during our stay. We got to know some of the most genuine people we have ever met at a campground and made connections with folks who left lasting impressions on our lives. We will be staying in touch! It snowed a record 9 inches while we were there. No big deal for us Northerners, but the staff handled it wonderfully and professionally. There were no major incidents during the cold weather, like pipes bursting or accidents, mostly due to the dilligence of the staff. We made snowmen and had a blast with the snow, and it was gone in a few days. The plants and trees are well cared for and beautifully placed. You feel like you are in a little cut-out slice of manicured Florida forest while there! The campground sprays for mosquitoes and other bugs, which made our time there more pleasant. Ants were the only insects we noticed at our site and around the pool area, but they were not too bad.Our refrigerator went out while we were camping there, and the clubhouse had plenty of refrigerator and freezer space for our food, so we didn't lose any of it during the repair. There is also a full kitchen available for anyone at any time. There were always delicious smells coming from the kitchen! Our site was $1,200 monthly. We felt that was too much for a campground without laundry facilities or cable TV. But, when we considered how amazing the staff was, how peaceful our site was, how close it was to the amenities, and the fact that the facilities were never down while we were there, it was worth it to us.A few things to know about the location if you are unfamiliar with the area: Vacay Village of Pensacola is actually in Pace, FL - about a half hour drive from downtown Pensacola and about 45 minutes to Pensacola Beach. Also worth noting is that there is a toll bridge that you must buy a Sun Pass for to take the shortest route to the beach. We never bought the Sun Pass and opted to spend our beach days at the less busy Navarre Beach, which is just 15 minutes longer a drive from the campground. A nice road through a nature preserve along the beach connects Navarre Beach to Pensacola Beach, and we spent most of our beach time there. No buildings on the beaches! Plus, you do not have to pay the toll to use the bridge when you leave Pensacola Beach, so we made a nice loop each time we went.We would stay at Vacay Village again in a heartbeat! Specifically in sites 2, 3, or 5 again. Pensacola is a fun city with nice people and lots of great restaurants and bars!
