Are you searching for reliable and conveniently located RV parks near you in the Soda Springs, Idaho area? Look no further! China Hat Store & RV Park, situated at 2780 ID-34, Soda Springs, ID 83276, USA, offers a unique camping experience combining essential amenities with the charm of a local store. This platform category, "RV parks near me," aims to connect local users with suitable recreational vehicle accommodations, and China Hat Store & RV Park presents itself as a potential option for travelers exploring the scenic beauty of southeastern Idaho.
While specific details about the environment of China Hat Store & RV Park are limited, its location in Soda Springs suggests access to the region's natural attractions. Soda Springs is known for its unique geological features, including natural carbonated springs and the Soda Springs Geyser, a man-made geyser that erupts hourly. The surrounding landscape offers opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and exploring the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, which is likely within a reasonable driving distance. For those seeking a basecamp to explore these natural wonders, China Hat Store & RV Park's location on ID-34 provides convenient access to both the town of Soda Springs and the wider regional attractions.
Based on the limited information available, the services offered at China Hat Store & RV Park appear to be somewhat basic. One positive review mentions the availability of power for charging devices, suggesting the presence of electrical hookups for RVs. The same review also notes the availability of snacks, indicating that the "China Hat Store" aspect of the business provides some convenience items for travelers. This could be particularly beneficial for those needing quick supplies or refreshments without having to travel far from their campsite. The mention of a "cheap camp spot" suggests that the pricing might be competitive, appealing to budget-conscious travelers.
However, it is crucial to consider all available feedback when evaluating a potential RV park. A contrasting review raises significant concerns regarding the park's management and infrastructure. This review details alleged issues with the owner's pet, claiming it acted aggressively towards guests. Furthermore, the reviewer reported a backed-up septic system, which caused inconvenience during their extended stay. The dispute over charges and the unprofessional behavior described in this negative review are serious points of consideration for potential visitors. It is important to note that this is just one customer's experience, but it warrants careful consideration and potentially further inquiry before making a reservation.
Considering the limited positive feedback and the concerning negative review, it is challenging to definitively highlight specific features of China Hat Store & RV Park. The presence of a store offering snacks and the availability of power hookups seem to be the main tangible features mentioned positively. The potential for a budget-friendly camping option might also be attractive to some. However, the alleged issues with pet control, septic system maintenance, and customer service, as described in the negative review, cannot be ignored.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for China Hat Store & RV Park online. Potential visitors are advised to contact the park directly using the provided phone number, (208) 251-7418 or the mobile number +1 208-251-7418, to inquire about current rates, availability, and any ongoing promotions. It would also be prudent to ask specific questions about the septic system, pet policies, and any other concerns arising from the available customer feedback.
In conclusion, China Hat Store & RV Park offers a location in Soda Springs, Idaho, with apparent basic amenities such as power hookups and a store selling snacks. The potential for an affordable camping spot might appeal to some travelers. However, prospective visitors should be aware of the serious concerns raised in at least one customer review regarding pet behavior, septic system issues, and customer service. It is strongly recommended to contact the park directly for the most up-to-date information and to address any potential concerns before making a reservation. When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Soda Springs area, consider China Hat Store & RV Park as one option, but weigh the limited positive aspects against the significant negative feedback received.

China Hat Store & RV Park Reviews
Owner has no control over his dog. His mutt jumped all over my back door charged at us several times. His septic system was backed up. Found out after I tried to dump during my 11 day stay. Tried to charge me over 400 dollars then when I disputed the amount he cussed out and threw a tantrum. Don’t recommend this place.
Apr 20, 2024 · Cory WicklanderWhat a great place for a camp spot for our biking tour. Cool (to perfection ) Coke a Cola! Cheap Camp spot. Power for charging our phones and snacks for days! Thanks
Sep 28, 2021 · Erik SteeleAwesome place, quiet and beautiful, stayed for a few months, bryce " the owner" was awesome very polite to my family. Fuel pump went out in town we didn't know anyone except bryce he came down and towed me back to the rv park, then loaned me his shop to swap the fuel pump out. Bryce is very respectful didn't have to help us one bit, but he did. We will always remember that and how generous he was.
