CMI Rv Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Prairieville, Louisiana area, CMI Rv Park, located at 17867 Airline Hwy, Prairieville, LA 70769, USA, presents itself as an option. However, it is crucial for potential visitors to be aware of the significant concerns raised in recent customer reviews when considering this park for their RV stay. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of CMI Rv Park based on the publicly available feedback, highlighting both potential drawbacks and any mentioned benefits to assist local users in making informed decisions.
Located on Airline Highway in Prairieville, CMI Rv Park's environment, based on customer reviews, appears to be a point of concern. One reviewer described the RV spot offered as "literally just a muddy spot in a yard," indicating potentially inadequate site preparation for RVs. The proximity to the highway without gates is also noted as an extreme safety concern for animals or children. This suggests that the park might lack the typical features of a secure and well-maintained RV park environment. Another reviewer described the park as "run down," with "all the concrete busted up" and "spots are dangerously unlevel, high in the front low in the back," further painting a picture of a potentially neglected physical environment. These descriptions suggest that the aesthetic appeal and overall safety of the park's environment may be significantly compromised.
The services and features of CMI Rv Park, as perceived by recent customers, also raise several red flags. One reviewer mentioned a lack of professionalism regarding a non-refundable deposit and the inability to accommodate a service dog safely. This suggests potential issues with park policies, communication, and adherence to accessibility requirements. The same reviewer indicated that the park seems to be primarily for permanent residents, which might influence the experience of short-term RV visitors. Another highly concerning review mentioned "raw sewage covering several spots in the park," with claims of it being an ongoing problem. Additionally, this review noted that "the water spicket is on the wrong side of half the spots" and that "the electric poles look far from safe," indicating potential infrastructural deficiencies and safety hazards. These accounts paint a concerning picture of the park's services and the maintenance of its essential utilities.
Features typically expected in "RV parks near me," such as well-maintained grounds, level sites, safe utility connections, and possibly recreational facilities, appear to be significantly lacking at CMI Rv Park based on the provided reviews. The negative feedback regarding the physical condition of the park, including muddy and unlevel spots, broken concrete, and potentially unsafe electrical connections, suggests a lack of investment in maintaining the property to a standard expected by RV travelers. The mention of raw sewage and inconveniently placed water spigots further detracts from the basic functionality and desirability of the park. The lack of gates and proximity to a busy highway also raise serious safety concerns, particularly for families with children or pet owners.
One reviewer offered a limited positive note, stating that the park "can accommodate workers when there is no availability at the surrounding parks." This suggests that CMI Rv Park might serve as a last resort option due to its capacity, but not necessarily due to its quality or desirability. This point underscores the importance of considering other "RV parks near me" in Prairieville before opting for CMI Rv Park. The same reviewer rated the park only two stars, primarily based on its ability to provide space when other options are unavailable, while still highlighting significant negative aspects.
The second detailed negative review paints an even more alarming picture, alleging illegal activities by some tenants, including drug dealing and the odor of marijuana. The reviewer also mentioned being overwhelmed by the manager sharing excessive negative details about the park, its tenants, and the owner. Furthermore, the account of being harassed by the owner after leaving the park due to concerns about the information shared adds a layer of extreme unprofessionalism to the overall impression. This feedback strongly suggests that the environment at CMI Rv Park may be unstable and potentially unsafe, especially for families or individuals seeking a peaceful and secure stay.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback concerning the environment, services, and overall management of CMI Rv Park, any potential promotional information is overshadowed by these significant concerns. The reviews strongly suggest that potential visitors should exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate other "RV parks near me" in the Prairieville area before considering CMI Rv Park. The issues raised, including safety hazards, unsanitary conditions, alleged illegal activities, and unprofessional management, are serious and warrant careful consideration. It is advisable to seek alternative accommodations that offer a safer, cleaner, and more professionally managed environment for your RV stay in Prairieville.
In conclusion, based on recent customer reviews, CMI Rv Park in Prairieville, LA, appears to have significant shortcomings in terms of its environment, services, and management. The negative feedback regarding unsafe conditions, unsanitary issues, alleged illegal activities, and unprofessional conduct paints a concerning picture for potential RV visitors. While one reviewer noted its ability to accommodate workers when other parks are full, this should not overshadow the serious safety and quality-of-life concerns raised. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Prairieville are strongly advised to carefully weigh these negative reviews and consider other options that offer a more secure, clean, and professionally managed experience. Direct contact with the park management might provide additional information, but the consistency and severity of the negative feedback warrant significant caution.

CMI Rv Park Reviews
Our deposit (which we were unaware was non-refundable on the very unprofessional lack of information exchange) was never given back to us when we were unable to stay due to this location not being able to accommodate our service dog safely. This is a park where most people seem to permanently live there. The RV spot offered to us was literally just a muddy spot in a yard. Very close to the highway with no gates or anything. Extremely unsafe for animals or children. This is a place where you would never spend any time outdoors, only directly in and out of your camper. Only rating 2 starts because it can accommodate workers when there is no availability at the surrounding parks.
Jan 19, 2022 · Courtney VossIt takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, however this I seem necessary. Where to start, we pulled in late evening and only stayed one night, all of this occurred in less than 24 hours. Upon looking at spots we noticed raw sewage covering several spots in the park, owner claims a tree branch fell and busted the pipe, however others in the park claim this is an ongoing problem. The spot we were going to choose, the tenant next door came out with a billow of smoke and the odor of pot behind him. Other neighbors are said to deal pills, and have drug dealers in and out. The manager filed us in on every detail of the park, it's tenants and its owner in a very overwhelming short time. Nevermind that the park is run down, all the concrete is busted up, spots are dangerously unlevel, high in the front low in the back. The water spicket is on the wrong side of half the spots, the elceticele poles look far from safe. I ended up blocking the owners number (whom I never met) because she began harassing me for information about tenants in the park and the things we had been told, even though we had already left. Very unprofessional, very trashy park. If you have children, a family, or just generally care about the area around you, I would find somewhere else.
Mar 11, 2019 · Kimberly DellThis is the absolute worst rv park I have ever come across. I have resided in numerous rv parks and this is by far the worst one. For starters the raw sewer that runs into the ditches is disgusting. The pot holes through the driveway in the park almost rip up the underneath of my car. The Landry facilities are never cared after and stays dirty, animals go outside and aren't cleaned up after. Then the "owner" goes unreachable for days on end and NONE of her residents or even employees can get intouch with her! How she has a business running there is beyond me. Then she's running for a legal office? That's going to be a mess like her rv park! Save your money!
Mar 10, 2018 · Laura HardyThis place was great for me when I was working in the area the new owner is awesome, the price was great and it was a quiet rv park I can GUARANTEE that I will be staying here every time I come into town. The owner personally stayed with me to assure my site was adequate. I highly recommend this place! And I personally highly praise the owner thank you!!! See y’all again soon.
