Colonial RV Park Reviews
We stayed here for a little over two months with our 2 toddlers and had a great stay. There is an area for pets and laundry on site. The owner is very helpful! Great for longer term stays and overnights. 30 minutes outside of New Orleans.
May 06, 2023 · The Salty RNEasy to get into and friendly people. Staying here while working on the road. We love it
May 02, 2025 · Rusty FowlerDon't stay here if u want consistent water flow... they turn it off every so often and don't let tenants know when or how long... sometimes I would go half the day without water and couldn't cook or wash dishes or take a shower and didn't know when it would be coming back on. (And this was POST IDA as described in a different rating by an Aaron, about 4 reviews down.)... I would have to text and ask the manager what was going on. Avoid this lady at all cost unless u got rent... Don't stay here if u have kids that are homeschooled... If they are, DONT let them outside during school hrs. Got kicked out for having my kid outside having fun on a mattress we were throwing out during down time and the manager had a fit and evicted us within the week. She had a problem with the length of our stay which was from August 2022 to February 2023 and I told her a few months... NTM... I had a defamation of my character thrown at my husband at the time of our eviction... Be careful if u plan to stay here... The manager may seem "cool" but she is far from it... She has picks and chooses... and it all started with a cat that was shot inside the park with a pellet gun, which is ILLEGAL!!! So I rescued her and decided to keep her. And that's where it all started... It's sad... how can someone run a business with multiple personalities? Does the owner know who he has managing the place?? Stay safe!
May 17, 2024 · AngelGreat RV park in LaPlace! Owners are very nice and easy to work with. They are always willing to accommodate as well as they can. The park is well maintained and safe and works very well for surrounding plant jobs. The owners are very animal friendly! As another reviewer said -- theres been lots of upgrades since the hurricane. Highly recommend!
