Cooper Lake RV Community Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" that provide a tranquil and welcoming environment in the Interlachen, Florida area, Cooper Lake RV Community, located at 1488 FL-20, Interlachen, FL 32148, USA, might be just what you're looking for. Based on recent customer reviews, this RV park offers a blend of peaceful surroundings, friendly management, and reasonable rates, making it an attractive option for both short and potentially longer stays.
The environment at Cooper Lake RV Community is consistently described as "peaceful and quiet," a significant advantage for those seeking a relaxing escape. Unlike more bustling or crowded campgrounds, this park seems to offer a serene atmosphere that allows guests to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings. The RV sites themselves are primarily "on grass with shade," suggesting a more natural and comfortable camping experience, particularly during the warmer Florida months. The spaciousness of the lots is also highlighted, with one reviewer mentioning "very spacious grass lots," providing ample room for RVs and outdoor setup.
The services and management at Cooper Lake RV Community have generally received positive feedback. The management is described as "really easy to work with" and "very friendly." One reviewer recounted a specific instance where the manager, Tim, went above and beyond by lending tools to a guest in need, showcasing a commitment to helpful and considerate service. This personal touch can significantly enhance a guest's stay and contribute to a positive overall impression of the park. The park also offers practical amenities such as "clean bathrooms," which is always a crucial factor for a comfortable camping experience.
Features of Cooper Lake RV Community include a "dog park," making it a pet-friendly option for travelers who bring their furry companions. This dedicated space allows dogs to exercise and socialize safely. Additionally, there is a "gathering area," which suggests a communal space where guests can interact and potentially participate in park events or casual get-togethers. The overall atmosphere is described as friendly, with one reviewer noting, "Everyone we met was very friendly," indicating a welcoming community vibe within the park.
Promotional aspects of Cooper Lake RV Community, based on the positive reviews, include its cleanliness ("very clean"), the friendliness and helpfulness of the management ("very friendly," "management is really easy to work with," Tim's helpfulness), the reasonable rates ("The rates are very reasonable"), and the peaceful and quiet environment ("Very peaceful and quiet spot"). The spacious and shaded grass lots are also a significant draw for those seeking a comfortable and natural camping setting. The presence of a dog park and gathering area further enhances its appeal to a broader range of campers.
However, it is important to consider all feedback to provide an objective introduction. A more recent update from a returning guest highlighted a significant issue with one of the sites. During a two-week stay in April, they were placed on a site with a "huge dip in the middle of it" that made leveling the RV difficult and potentially unsafe. Despite the presence of a "big pile of sand onsite," the manager reportedly did not offer any to help fill the hole, and the park was fully booked, preventing a move to a different site. This experience led to "very disappointed" feedback regarding the site's condition and the response to the issue.
This more recent review introduces a note of caution. While the park has previously been praised for its cleanliness and friendly management, it appears that site conditions can vary, and the response to site-related problems might not always meet expectations, especially when the park is at full capacity. Potential guests might want to inquire specifically about the condition and levelness of their assigned site when booking, particularly if they have a larger RV or require a very level parking space.
Despite this recent negative experience regarding a specific site, the earlier review and the general sentiment of peacefulness and friendly management still hold value. Cooper Lake RV Community seems to offer a generally positive camping experience with its quiet environment, spacious grass lots, clean facilities, and welcoming staff. The reasonable rates also make it an economically attractive option for RVers in the Interlachen area.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Cooper Lake RV Community presents a mixed but generally positive picture. It offers a peaceful and quiet setting with spacious, shaded grass lots and is known for its friendly and helpful management, as well as reasonable rates. The presence of a dog park and gathering area adds to its appeal. However, potential guests should be aware that site conditions can vary, and it might be prudent to inquire about the specific site they are booking. To get the most up-to-date information on site availability, rates, and any current conditions, it is recommended to contact Cooper Lake RV Community directly at (386) 983-1478 or mobile +1 386-983-1478. Cooper Lake RV Community Reviews
Update: Visited again for 2 weeks in April and the cleanliness was the same level, but we were put on a site that had a huge dip in the middle of it that we could not park the RV in and caused a lot of scary moments trying to get leveled and set up. They were booked up so we didn't have another space to move into. There was a big pile of sand onsite, but the onsite manager didn't think it was enough of a problem to offer us any to fill in the huge hole. Very disappointed in the response and condition of the site. ***Very clean, very friendly, a great place to camp. The rates are very reasonable and the management is really easy to work with. The sites are mostly flat and the sites are on grass with shade. There is a dog park and a gathering area. Everyone we met was very friendly. We will be back!
May 21, 2024 · Terry StaceyMy wife and I stayed here for about a month while I was working nearby. Very peaceful and quiet spot compared to most. Very spacious grass lots. Clean bathrooms. As we were leaving I needed to adjust my hitch but didn’t have wrenches big enough with me, Tim was kind enough to lend me his so we could get on the road. 10/10 recommend. We’ll be back.
Mar 01, 2024 · Michael AshtonI visited this place and it has the cleanest office, bathrooms and showers . The entire place is very nice and nicely upkeep of the land and all campers etc. Nice and quiet neighborhood. I was extremely impressed to say the least .
Dec 29, 2023 · K.OliviaWe were here about a year ago and liked the park then. (Hint to those leaving bad reviews: consider what you should expect for where you are) This is a quiet community. The town is very quiet and slow so you should not expect Bougie. The people in the park are friendly and accommodating. The crew is always out working and we can clearly see the updates they have made over the last year. Site markings are clearer, roads are better and sites are marked off clearly. You can see they are trying to improve the park. The only reason I am not giving a 5 is the sites are very uneven and almost impossible to get level. Some of the rigs are leveled out in some very scary ways. They do need to level the sites but that takes a ton of money and time. I am hopeful they can do this. However, be mindful of the fact with large improvements like this the rent price goes up. So its a trade off.Overall, we love the park and would come back a third time if in the area.
Sep 29, 2024 · P SHUDRAWe visited after the hurricane came through FL. The customer service was incredible under such circumstances. We loved the spot we were given. It was truly a treasure in the middle of so much intensity! Thank you, Cooper Lake RV for everything. Hopefully, we get an opportunity to visit again!
