Countryside RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Greenville, Texas area, Countryside RV Park, located at 157 Bethel Rd, Greenville, TX 75402, USA, is an option to consider. They can be reached at (903) 456-0090 or +1 903-456-0090 for inquiries. Based on the available customer reviews, it's crucial for potential guests to be aware of both the positive developments and a serious negative experience reported by a former long-term resident.
One positive review from a resident who had been at Countryside RV Park since April highlights several recent improvements and initiatives. According to this feedback, the park has been actively working on enhancing the guest experience by building awnings for the back portion of the park, which would offer shade and protection from the elements. Additionally, they have completed a bathhouse and laundry facility, providing more convenient amenities for guests. These infrastructure developments suggest an ongoing effort to improve the comfort and convenience of staying at Countryside RV Park.
The same reviewer also praised the staff as "very respectful and professional" and described the owners as "very polite and homely to the guests." This indicates a potentially welcoming and positive interaction with the management and staff, contributing to a comfortable and friendly atmosphere within the park. Furthermore, the park has reportedly started organizing "interactive competitions between guests for holiday decorations" and offers a "weekly donut and coffee bar to meet and greet with current and new guests." These initiatives suggest an effort to foster a sense of community and engagement among the residents, which can be a significant draw for those seeking a more social RV park experience.
However, it is imperative to consider a subsequent "4 MONTH UPDATE" from a different former resident, written on January 8, 2025, which paints a starkly contrasting picture. This detailed account describes a deeply negative experience involving an "unanticipated payment of nearly $400" demanded by the park. When the resident questioned the charge and requested an explanation or itemized receipt, they declined to pay until more information was provided. The owner then allegedly informed them they would be evicted unless they consented to repairs being carried out without their agreement or consultation.
The situation escalated to an eviction that the former resident states occurred "during an active snowstorm," leaving their wife, 3-year-old child, dog, and themselves without immediate shelter. The reviewer emphasizes that the sudden charge was neither explained nor justified, despite their reasonable request for clarity. This experience led to profound disappointment, especially since they initially felt safe and comfortable at the park. As a result of this "unprofessional treatment," the former resident explicitly states they can no longer recommend Countryside RV Park and mentions calling the police regarding the situation.
The former resident also indicated their intention to post a detailed review with documented evidence on their RV lifestyle platform and keep it there until the park reaches out professionally to resolve the matter. This suggests a significant level of dissatisfaction and a desire to warn other potential RVers about their negative experience at Countryside RV Park.
Given these two contrasting accounts, local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Greenville, Texas, must weigh the reported recent improvements and community initiatives against the very serious allegations of unprofessional treatment and an unwarranted eviction during adverse weather conditions. The positive review suggests a park that is investing in its facilities and fostering a sense of community, with polite owners and respectful staff. The negative review, however, raises significant concerns about transparency in billing, tenant rights, and the overall management practices, particularly in handling disputes and resident concerns.
Without further information or responses from the park management regarding the serious allegations in the negative review, it is challenging to provide a fully objective assessment of the current environment and management practices at Countryside RV Park. Potential guests should be aware of this publicly shared negative experience and consider it carefully alongside the reported positive developments.
Regarding specific services and features beyond the newly built bathhouse and laundry facility, the first review does not provide extensive details. It mentions awnings being built for the back portion of the park, suggesting that some sites may offer covered parking or shade in the future. The establishment of a weekly donut and coffee bar indicates a social initiative but does not detail the standard amenities. Typically, RV parks offer essential services such as water, electricity (likely 30 and/or 50 amp service), and sewer hookups at each site. It would be prudent for potential guests to inquire about the availability and quality of these basic utilities, as well as other common amenities like Wi-Fi, trash disposal, and any recreational facilities.
The environment of Countryside RV Park, based on the name and the improvements mentioned, might be expected to have a more rural or open setting. The construction of awnings suggests that shade might be a consideration in the park's design or ongoing development. However, the reviews do not provide specific details about the natural surroundings or the layout of the park beyond the back portion where awnings were added.
No specific promotional information, such as discounts for long-term stays or seasonal offers, was mentioned in either of the provided reviews. Local users interested in learning about pricing and any potential promotions at Countryside RV Park should contact them directly at the provided phone numbers.
In conclusion, for local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Greenville, Texas, Countryside RV Park presents a complex picture. Recent positive developments include infrastructure improvements like awnings and a new bathhouse/laundry facility, along with community-building initiatives and reports of polite owners and respectful staff. However, a serious and detailed negative experience reported by a former long-term resident, involving unexpected charges and an eviction during a snowstorm, raises significant concerns about management practices and tenant relations. Potential guests are strongly advised to consider both perspectives and to conduct thorough due diligence, including directly contacting the park for detailed information about their policies, services, and how they address resident concerns, before making a decision about staying at Countryside RV Park.

Jan 09, 2025 · That honest Review guyWell where do I begin this place is clean dry as a nice laundry facility clean restrooms. Plenty of space for other RVs covered RV spots. Manager is very nice. Is also very close to shopping. There's also plenty of room for parking in your spot and they don't charge for extra vehicles. I would come back to this place anytime I am very much enjoying my stay here.
Mar 21, 2025 · Mike DICKSONMe and my Husband have been living here for the last month and have had barely any issues. If there is any issues, it is resolved very quickly. They also have donuts on Fridays is a very big perk of living here. It is also very quiet here, which we love! We love the staff here and highly recommend Countryside RV Park!
Mar 22, 2025 · Amanda MartinYou can’t beat their prices. I only pay $450 for a covered site that is on the end where we can look out and see deer roaming. The office staff is nice, they do free coffee and donuts, the showers are amazing, and it is so quiet and peaceful. They even did a site decorating contest for Christmas and my neighbor won a fire pit! The best RV Park around.
