1770 West I-30 RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Greenville, Texas area, 1770 West I-30 RV Park, located at 1770 W, I-30, Greenville, TX 75402, USA, is an option to consider. You can reach them at (903) 422-1650 or +1 903-422-1650 for inquiries. However, it's important to carefully consider the information available from online reviews to understand the potential environment and experience at this park.
The customer feedback regarding 1770 West I-30 RV Park presents a somewhat mixed picture, highlighting both potential advantages and significant drawbacks. One reviewer noted that the price was "not bad," which could be a factor for budget-conscious travelers. However, this positive aspect was immediately countered by a significant environmental consideration: the park's direct proximity to Highway/I-30. The reviewer explicitly mentioned having to "endure the traffic and construction," indicating that noise levels could be a considerable issue for some guests.
Another, more detailed review from a former long-term resident painted a less favorable picture of the overall living experience. This review highlighted several concerns, including noise from an adjacent event venue that reportedly played loud music for a significant portion of the night. Additionally, the reviewer mentioned disruptive behavior within the park, such as vehicles turning around in residents' yards and issues with neighboring dogs barking throughout the night, contributing to an overall lack of peace and quiet. The reviewer also raised concerns about a perceived lack of management responsiveness, citing instances of dog owners not cleaning up after their pets in residents' yards. This negative feedback suggests potential challenges related to noise, park etiquette, and management oversight during the period this reviewer resided at the park.
Considering its categorization as one of the "RV parks near me," 1770 West I-30 RV Park likely offers the fundamental services expected of such facilities. However, the environmental factors and reported issues raise important questions for prospective guests. Based on the available information, we can analyze the potential environment, likely services, and features with a degree of caution:
Environment and Ambiance:
The most prominent environmental factor mentioned in the reviews is the park's close proximity to Interstate 30. This location offers the advantage of easy access to the highway, which can be convenient for travelers passing through or those needing to commute. However, as pointed out by a reviewer, this adjacency comes with the significant drawback of traffic noise, which could be constant and potentially disruptive, especially for light sleepers or those seeking a tranquil environment. The mention of ongoing "construction" further suggests that noise levels might be elevated and the immediate surroundings could be less aesthetically pleasing due to construction activities.
The second review introduces another significant environmental consideration: the presence of an event venue located at the back of the RV park. The loud music emanating from this venue for "half of the night" would undoubtedly be a major disturbance for residents and guests seeking a quiet stay. The combination of highway noise and event venue noise could create a significantly less peaceful environment compared to RV parks located further away from such sources of noise pollution.
Furthermore, the internal environment of the RV park, as described by the long-term resident, also presents potential issues. The reported instances of vehicles turning around in yards and the problem of dogs barking throughout the night suggest a lack of enforcement of park rules or a general lack of consideration among some residents. These factors could detract from the overall quality of life and the sense of community within the park.
Services and Amenities:
While specific services and amenities are not detailed in the provided reviews, we can infer some likely offerings based on the general requirements of an RV park. These typically include:
- RV Hookups: Essential for accommodating recreational vehicles, these would likely include connections for electricity (with varying amperage options), water, and sewer at each site.
- Road Access and Parking: The park would need to provide roadways suitable for RVs to navigate and designated parking spaces for each RV site.
- Waste Disposal: Facilities for the disposal of trash and sewage are a fundamental necessity for any RV park.
Given the mixed reviews, it would be prudent for potential guests to directly inquire about the reliability and maintenance of these essential services. Additional amenities that 1770 West I-30 RV Park *might* offer, but are not confirmed by the reviews, could include:
- Restroom and Shower Facilities: Communal restrooms and showers can be important for RVers, especially those with limited on-board facilities.
- Laundry Facilities: On-site laundry rooms with washers and dryers are a valuable amenity for longer stays.
- Wi-Fi Access: Internet connectivity is often a significant factor for RV travelers.
- Pet-Friendly Policies: While one review mentioned issues with dog owners not cleaning up after their pets, the park likely has a pet policy. It would be important to understand the specific rules and any designated pet areas.
- Recreational Areas: Some RV parks offer amenities like picnic tables or small communal spaces. The proximity to the highway might limit the appeal or feasibility of extensive outdoor recreational facilities.
- Security: Information about security measures is not provided in the reviews.
Features: Accessibility and Potential Affordability
Based on the reviews, the primary feature of 1770 West I-30 RV Park appears to be its location directly off Interstate 30. This provides easy access for travelers and could be a significant advantage for those who prioritize convenience of location over peace and quiet. The mention of a "not bad" price in one review suggests that affordability might be another potential feature, making it an option for budget-conscious travelers who are willing to tolerate the noise and other potential drawbacks.
However, the presence of an event venue at the back of the park is a unique feature that could be a significant negative for many, due to the reported noise issues. Potential guests should inquire about the frequency and duration of events at this venue to assess the potential impact on their stay.
Promotional Information:
The provided reviews do not contain any information about current promotions or special offers at 1770 West I-30 RV Park. To learn about their pricing structure (daily, weekly, monthly rates) and any potential discounts, it is necessary to contact the park directly at (903) 422-1650 or +1 903-422-1650. It would also be advisable to inquire about their policies regarding long-term stays and any associated benefits or drawbacks, especially in light of the negative experience shared by a former long-term resident.
Objective Summary:
1770 West I-30 RV Park near Greenville, TX, offers a location directly adjacent to Interstate 30, providing convenient highway access. One reviewer noted that the price was reasonable. However, the reviews also raise significant concerns about noise levels due to the proximity to the highway and a nearby event venue that reportedly plays loud music late into the night. Additionally, a former long-term resident reported issues with disruptive behavior within the park and a perceived lack of management attention to these problems. While the park likely provides essential RV services, potential guests should be aware of the potential for a noisy environment and consider these factors carefully before making a reservation. It is strongly recommended to contact the park management directly to inquire about current conditions, noise levels, park rules, and any available amenities to make a fully informed decision when considering "RV parks near me" in the Greenville area. Visiting the park in person, if possible, could also provide valuable insight into the actual environment and current state of the facilities.

1770 West I-30 RV Park Reviews
Not bad on the price, but it is right next to highway/I-30, so you have to endure the traffic and construction. Jessie is awesome though.
Apr 27, 2025 · James RinckerLived at the back of the RV park there is a event venue back there they play music half of the night very loud they will come through turn around in your yard there's people who live by you with dogs barking all night they're in and out all night was not a very good place we lived there almost 2 years at first it was good when Adrian was there they walk their dogs through there and let them poop in your yard no one really seem to care no management
Apr 09, 2025 · Donna HintonThis is an OK RV park. The parking signs are POORLY located and the park layout is going in on the left, instead of the typical right. No easy way to turn around. No rest rooms or showers. Sites have large crushed rock for the bed, Should have finished the job with a good cover. No tables. .Surprisingly the highway noise wasn't too bad. Not staying here again. Will check out the park on 34
