Crosby Mobile Home Community Introduce
For local users in the Crosby, Texas area searching within the "RV parks near me" platform category for long-term housing options, Crosby Mobile Home Community, located at 2929 US-90 #28, Crosby, TX 77532, USA, presents a mobile home park with significant concerns raised by individuals claiming to be connected to residents. It is crucial for potential residents to carefully consider the serious negative feedback provided, which paints a troubling picture of the community's management, safety, and overall living environment.
When choosing a place to live, especially in a mobile home park setting, key factors such as effective management, safety and security, the upkeep of the property, and the overall quality of life are paramount. The reviews for Crosby Mobile Home Community raise significant red flags in these critical areas, suggesting potential challenges for those considering residing there.
Environment and Atmosphere:
The reviews describe a highly negative environment and atmosphere within Crosby Mobile Home Community. One reviewer whose mother-in-law lives in the park indicates a lack of enforcement of community rules, citing "idiots parking all in her yard" with no action taken by the "wannabe manager" or the "slumlord owner." This suggests a chaotic and disrespectful environment where residents' property rights may not be protected.
The same reviewer also mentions restrictive and seemingly unreasonable property management, stating, "A dang tree could be fixing to grown through your trailer and they won't let you cut it down." This points to a lack of responsiveness to residents' maintenance needs and potentially hazardous living conditions.
Another review uses extremely harsh language, labeling the place as "trash" and "disgustingly ugly" with a bad smell. This paints a picture of a poorly maintained and unpleasant physical environment. The presence of "foil, stuffing from pillows, sheets and what not all in the windows" further contributes to the impression of a neglected and potentially unsafe community.
The noise levels are also a significant concern, with one reviewer mentioning its location "next to a very busy, loud, early starting pope yard." This suggests a persistent and unavoidable source of noise pollution. Additionally, the presence of "kids crowd the streets after school til bedtime and all weekend" and "loud music and beer drinking late and all day during weekends" indicates a potentially disruptive and unruly atmosphere, especially during non-school hours and on weekends.
The reviewer concludes by describing the place as "pretty ghetto-not fabulous" and states they "wouldn't let my dog live there if i had any other choice," underscoring the severely negative perception of the community's environment and overall quality of life.
Services and Amenities:
The provided reviews do not explicitly detail any positive services or amenities offered at Crosby Mobile Home Community. Instead, they focus on the lack of effective management and the negative consequences for residents. The absence of any positive mentions regarding services or amenities, coupled with the complaints about mismanagement and neglect, suggests that the basic needs and expectations of residents may not be adequately met.
The mention of a "wannabe manager" and a "slumlord owner" implies a lack of professional and responsible management, which can severely impact the provision and maintenance of essential services within the community.
Typically, mobile home parks should provide basic infrastructure such as utility hookups and waste management. However, the negative reviews raise concerns about the overall upkeep and responsiveness to residents' needs, suggesting that even these basic services may be subpar.
Features and Unique Aspects:
Based on the overwhelmingly negative reviews, it is difficult to identify any positive or unique features of Crosby Mobile Home Community. The proximity to a "very busy, loud, early starting pope yard" is presented as a significant negative aspect rather than a feature.
The lack of enforced rules, the alleged neglect of property maintenance, and the reported issues with noise and unruly behavior all point to a community facing serious challenges. The only unique aspect that emerges from the reviews is the apparent dysfunction in management and the resulting negative impact on the living environment.
The claim that "owners are shady and cant be trusted to keep their word" further erodes any potential positive features associated with the community's management or ownership.
Promotional Information and Call to Action:
Given the severely negative nature of the provided reviews, it is highly unlikely that Crosby Mobile Home Community would be actively promoting itself in a positive light based on this feedback. There is no mention of any promotional offers or incentives in the reviews. Instead, the strong negative sentiments serve as a significant warning to potential residents.
Recommendation for Local Users:
For local users in the Crosby, TX area searching for mobile home parks within the "RV parks near me" platform category, the information available regarding Crosby Mobile Home Community at 2929 US-90 #28 is overwhelmingly negative and raises serious concerns about the living conditions, management, and safety within the community.
Potential residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate these concerns before considering Crosby Mobile Home Community as a place to live. It is highly recommended to:
- Visit the property in person during various times of the day and week to assess the noise levels, the upkeep of the grounds, and the general atmosphere.
- Attempt to speak with current residents to get firsthand accounts of their experiences with the management, safety, and community rules. Be aware that those willing to speak openly might have negative experiences.
- Inquire extensively with the management about the issues raised in the reviews, seeking specific details on how these concerns are being addressed or have been resolved.
- Check for any official complaints or records filed against the property with local housing authorities or tenant rights organizations.
- Consider alternative mobile home parks or housing options in the Crosby area that have more positive or neutral feedback.
The reviews for Crosby Mobile Home Community paint a concerning picture of a poorly managed, noisy, and potentially unsafe living environment. Local users seeking a stable and positive housing situation are strongly encouraged to proceed with extreme caution and to seek comprehensive and up-to-date information before making any decisions regarding this property. The significant negative feedback suggests that Crosby Mobile Home Community may not provide a satisfactory living experience for many potential residents.

Crosby Mobile Home Community Reviews
My husband's mom lives here and honestly she needs to move. Where she is at you have idiots parking all in her yard and not only the wannabe manager does nothing about but neither does the slumlord owner. A dang tree could be fixing to grown through your trailer and they won't let you cut it down. I know this because it's happening to my mother in-law. Kick out the trash and get residents that are better. Speed limit is posted at 10mph and you have people doing 30 to 40 mph through there.
Jun 04, 2018 · Brittany ThorpYou cant hive lower than one star or else i would. Placeiacoceres i trash. Dogs run free in the streets. Owners are shady and cant be trusted to keep their word. Place is disgustingly ugly and smells bad. Located next to a very busy, loud, early starting pope yard. Kids crowd the streets after school til bedtime and all weekend. Loud music and beer drinking late and all day during weekends. Property owners hold grudges and make things personal when there are any issues. Parking is no good. Many homes have foil, stuffing from pillows, sheets and what not all in the windows. All in all pretty ghetto-not fabulous. I wouldn't let my dog live there if i had any other choice. Not to mentions the driveway has allot traffic in and out ALL night, EVERY night. If i xould rate it negative 5 stars I would!!!
