Based on enthusiastic reviews from recent guests, Cucumber Creek RV Park stands out for its stunning natural environment along a "gorgeous creek," the exceptional hospitality of its owners, Clint and Mary, and the opportunity for adventure through guided ATV tours.
The natural environment of Cucumber Creek RV Park is a significant draw, with the creek being a central feature that guests consistently appreciate. One reviewer who booked "King’s Corner (spot 25)" for an anniversary weekend described it as "absolutely perfect!" and highlighted the beauty of the location right next to the creek. This suggests that many of the RV sites at Cucumber Creek RV Park offer picturesque creekfront access, providing a tranquil and scenic backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The presence of the creek likely enhances the overall ambiance of the park, offering opportunities for peaceful walks, enjoying nature, and perhaps even some water-related activities, although the latter is not explicitly detailed in the reviews.
The hospitality of the owners, Clint and Mary, is another aspect that receives exceptional praise. Guests repeatedly mention their kindness and welcoming nature. Clint and Mary are described as going above and beyond to ensure their guests have an enjoyable stay. They reportedly check in with guests multiple times, demonstrating a genuine care for their comfort and satisfaction. This personal touch can significantly elevate the RV park experience, making guests feel valued and well-cared for.

The owners, Clint and Mary, offer "guided ATV tours," providing guests with an exciting way to explore the surrounding area and experience some "great views." One reviewer who brought their own ATV participated in a tour led by Clint and had a fantastic time. This feature sets Cucumber Creek RV Park apart from many traditional RV parks, offering a curated adventure experience led by knowledgeable locals. This could be a major attraction for those looking to combine RVing with outdoor activities and exploration.
In addition to the on-site offerings, Clint and Mary also provide valuable local knowledge, giving "great recommendations on what to see" in the area and "where to eat!" This local insight can be invaluable for guests who are unfamiliar with the region, helping them make the most of their visit and discover hidden gems and local favorites. The park's location, approximately 45 minutes from the popular Broken Bow/Hochatown area, also makes it a convenient base for exploring other attractions in southeastern Oklahoma. Guests can easily take day trips to Broken Bow for lunch and souvenir shopping, as one reviewer mentioned doing.
The reviews also highlight the flexibility of accommodation options at Cucumber Creek RV Park. One guest mentioned bringing their own camper and also renting one on-site. This suggests that the park may offer RV rentals in addition to traditional RV sites, catering to a broader range of travelers, including those who may not own an RV but still want to experience the beauty and adventure of the area. The fact that guests who brought their own RV and those who rented one both had excellent experiences speaks to the quality and appeal of the park's offerings.
While the reviews are overwhelmingly positive, they do not provide extensive details about the specific services and amenities available at Cucumber Creek RV Park. However, based on the context, it can be inferred that essential hookups for RVs (water, electricity, sewer) are provided at the sites. The mention of rented campers suggests that these units are likely well-equipped. Information about other common RV park amenities, such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access, or pet policies, is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Potential guests should inquire directly about these services when booking.
In terms of the environment beyond the creek, the reviews focus primarily on the natural beauty and the access to ATV trails and scenic views during the guided tours. There is no specific mention of the layout of the RV sites, the amount of shade, or other landscaping features within the park itself. However, the positive overall experiences suggest that the park is well-maintained and conducive to an enjoyable stay.
The overwhelmingly positive feedback from multiple guests serves as strong promotional information for Cucumber Creek RV Park. The emphasis on the beautiful creek-side location, the exceptional kindness and helpfulness of the owners, and the unique offering of guided ATV tours creates a compelling picture for those seeking a memorable outdoor getaway in southeastern Oklahoma. Cucumber Creek RV Park Reviews
We booked King’s Corner (spot 25) for our anniversary weekend and it was absolutely perfect! Such a beautiful place right next to the gorgeous creek. The owners, Clint and Mary, are SO kind and welcoming. They came by to check on us several times over the weekend and made sure we enjoyed our stay. They offer guided ATV tours and give great recommendations on what to see while you are there and where to eat! It’s just about 45 minutes from Broken Bow/Hochatown so we went and got lunch and did some souvenir shopping. We will definitely be back and recommend to all of our friends!
Apr 23, 2023 · Jessica ShillingGreat spot. We brought our own camper and also rented the one on site. We had also brought our own ATV and went riding for the day with the owner Clint and saw some great views of the area. Couldn't have asked for a better time will definitely be back
Mar 31, 2025 · buck freemanAbsolutely LOVED staying at Cucumber Creek RV park!!! We stayed in one of the travel trailers on-site and it was perfect for our family. In the future, we definitely will be back, not only to play in the river but also take a side-by-side and take the entire ATV tour!! Truly is the best kept secret north of Hochatown.
Jul 09, 2023 · Jessica GrimesThis is a fairly new RV park on the Eastern side of Oklahoma. The setting is beautiful and set back under a canopy of Cottonwood, Pine, and Oak trees. It is nestled beside the most wonderful creek. The rock formations are unlike anything I've ever seen, and because it is a rock bed, the water is amazingly clear. The owner, Ross, was very friendly and took me for a ride on his ATV to show me around and what they hoped to do to the place. There were kids playing around in the water, but it is too rocky to kayak and at the time I stayed it was too low to fish. They hope to put in some hiking trails, which would enhance the stay. As it was they have access to several acres across the highway for ATV trails, which are accessed under the highway, so you don't have to worry about kids crossing a dangerous highway. Also at the time of my stay Ross showed me the restroom facilities they are finishing. These will be brand new and consist of a men's toilet and shower and a women's toilet and shower. They will also have 2 sets of washers and dryers. At the time of my staying they were not completed yet, so do give them a call first to make sure they are done if you have a teardrop camper like me.I'd like to go back again when they've had a little rain to really get the full effect of the creek.
Oct 12, 2021 · Melissa JenkinsGreat spot to get away from the busy Hochatown crowd! A few of the spots could use a bit of leveling, but overall the spots were great! The creek was very refreshing with a few deep holes to swim in. We did see a few banded water snakes but they never bothered us. The southern waterfall was the best! We will definitely be back for future trips!
