Cypress Gardens Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
For those exploring "RV parks near me" or mobile home communities in the Winter Haven, Florida area, Cypress Gardens Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 1951 Lake Daisy Rd #303, presents an interesting option. This park caters to a 55+ community, offering a mix of mobile home and RV lots. Based on recent customer reviews, the park has both notable strengths and significant areas of concern that prospective residents should carefully consider.
One resident describes Cypress Gardens as a "Great little gem in Winter Haven," expressing satisfaction with their recent move. This reviewer highlights several appealing aspects of the park. Firstly, it is described as "very quiet," which is a significant draw for many individuals seeking a peaceful living environment in their retirement years. This tranquility contributes to a relaxed atmosphere, a key factor for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.
Another strong positive mentioned is the "low lot rent," making it an attractive option for those on a budget. This affordability is particularly appealing when coupled with the size of the lots, which are described as "large." Spacious lots provide residents with more personal space and room for their RV or manufactured home, enhancing comfort and privacy, a feature not always found in other "RV parks near me."
The social environment at Cypress Gardens also receives positive feedback. The reviewer notes that "Everyone we have met is very friendly and respects your privacy." This suggests a welcoming and considerate community where residents can enjoy their independence while also having friendly interactions with neighbors. A respectful and amiable community atmosphere is a crucial element for long-term satisfaction in any residential park.
A surprising and highly valued amenity mentioned by the positive reviewer is the "beautiful pool." The fact that such a well-maintained pool is available at a park with "such low lot rent" is highlighted as an unexpected bonus, adding significant value for residents. A pool offers opportunities for exercise, relaxation, and social gathering, enhancing the overall quality of life within the community.
Despite these positives, the first reviewer also points out a drawback: "a few of the places in the park are a little run down." However, they also mention that these areas are "mostly being fixed up as I write this," indicating that management is actively addressing maintenance and aesthetic issues. This suggests a commitment to improving the park's overall appearance, and the reviewer plans to update their review, implying a watchful but hopeful stance on these improvements.
In fact, this positive reviewer concludes by stating that "if I was looking for a new 55+ park for myself, I would definitely move here." This strong endorsement from a current resident who recently moved in provides compelling testimony to the park's appeal for its target demographic.
However, a second review presents a starkly contrasting and deeply concerning perspective. This reviewer describes serious issues related to the park's infrastructure and management. The primary concern is a "Power pole needs to be repaired," and a grave allegation that "the manager does nothing about it." Alarmingly, the reviewer states that the power pole "Already caught fire once."
In an update to this review, the situation appears to have worsened: "Power pole still not fixed, the meter up top even stopped spinning so the manager Michelle makes up the power usage." This suggests not only a continued lack of maintenance on critical infrastructure but also potentially fraudulent billing practices. The reviewer explicitly states, "This is the second month," implying a pattern of estimated, rather than metered, power usage. The review concludes with the dire warning, "“Another” lawsuit for this park on the way," indicating severe dissatisfaction and potential legal action from residents regarding these issues.
This second review introduces critical concerns about the safety, reliability of utilities, and the ethical practices of the management, specifically mentioning "manager Michelle." Such allegations of unaddressed safety hazards and questionable billing practices are extremely serious and would be a major red flag for anyone considering this park, regardless of its positive aspects.
Therefore, while Cypress Gardens Mobile Home & RV Park appears to offer a quiet environment, large lots, low lot rent, and a beautiful pool, as well as a friendly community atmosphere that appeals to some, the severe unaddressed issues with the power infrastructure and allegations of utility billing irregularities are paramount. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" or a 55+ manufactured home community in Winter Haven, the decision to consider Cypress Gardens must be approached with extreme caution.
Prospective residents are strongly advised to thoroughly investigate the claims made in the second review. This would involve directly contacting the park management at (863) 324-3136 or +1 863-324-3136 to inquire about the status of the power pole repairs, the utility billing methods, and any ongoing or past legal disputes. An in-person visit is also highly recommended to visually inspect the condition of the infrastructure and to speak with current residents to gather a more comprehensive understanding of the living conditions and management responsiveness. The potential benefits of a quiet, affordable, and friendly community must be weighed against the significant risks and reported problems before making a commitment to Cypress Gardens Mobile Home & RV Park.

Cypress Gardens Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
Great little gem in Winter Haven. My friend just moved in here a month ago and we both love it. It is very quiet, the lot rent is low and the lots large. Everyone we have met is very friendly and respects your privacy. The pool is beautiful and unexpected at a park with such low lot rent. I would give five stars but a few of the places in the park are a little run down but they are mostly being fixed up as I write this. I will update after some time if things change. As of today, if I was looking for a new 55+ park for myself, I would definitely move here.

Oct 02, 2023 · Paul The Handymanits ok i guess, but everyone at this park is soooo very nosy and give the most judgmental looks i've ever seen before !
Nov 15, 2020 · Tina French-McCarter (Tina)This place could be so great 95% of the people I met in my 2 years there were amazing .The manager however not so much she has special rules for special people and will harass you to the point of pulling out. Power usage is made up month to month. If you stay here get everything from Michelle in WRITING!!!. I was self contained so it didn't bother me but the bathrooms and laundry rooms are a joke.
Oct 05, 2023 · Richard GlaubenWe have been so impressed with this park. We arrived in September and are so glad we selected this park for the winter. The staff here is absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. There are a variety of weekly events that keep you engaged. They provide thanksgiving and Christmas dinner and guests bring their choice of food to contribute to the dinners. We have been across the country many times and we can’t think of a park that is as wonderful as here. There are not enough words to describe how fortunate we are to stay hereBarry and Renee
