Diamond Campground Inc., located at 900 CO-67, Woodland Park, CO 80863, with contact phone numbers (719) 687-9684 and +1 719-687-9684, presents an appealing option for those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Woodland Park and Colorado Springs vicinity. Based on glowing customer reviews, Diamond Campground offers a combination of affordability, a welcoming community, clean amenities, and a beautiful natural environment, making it a noteworthy destination for RV travelers.
One long-term guest who stayed at Diamond Campground for a summer period initially chose it due to its competitive monthly rates, which were reportedly the best among at least 15 different places called between Denver and Colorado Springs. This affordability makes Diamond Campground an attractive option for those seeking extended stays within the "RV parks near me" category without breaking the bank. However, the positive aspects of Diamond Campground extend far beyond just its pricing.
The environment of Diamond Campground is highly praised, with one reviewer describing it as "a diamond in the rough" and noting the beauty of being "nestled amongst the trees." This suggests a serene and natural setting, providing a pleasant escape for RVers looking to immerse themselves in the Colorado landscape. Despite being called a campground, it is explicitly mentioned as "RV friendly with full hookups," a crucial feature for those traveling with recreational vehicles and seeking the convenience of water, electricity, and sewer connections at their site. This confirms that Diamond Campground caters specifically to the needs of the RV community.
The amenities at Diamond Campground receive positive feedback, with reviewers highlighting the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities. The showers and bathrooms are reportedly cleaned daily, ensuring a consistently tidy and pleasant experience for guests. The laundry room, also cleaned daily and equipped with a number of washers and dryers, is noted as a significant perk, allowing guests to efficiently take care of their laundry needs on-site. These well-maintained amenities contribute to the overall comfort and convenience of staying at Diamond Campground, making it a strong contender among "RV parks near me" that prioritize guest satisfaction.
A standout feature of Diamond Campground appears to be its strong sense of community. The reviewer who stayed for the summer particularly enjoyed the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, noting the presence of many long-time returners (as Diamond is open seasonally). The campground fosters social interaction through "potluck events held at their cute little indoor-outdoor community center," providing a great opportunity for guests to meet their neighbors and build connections. This sense of community can greatly enhance the RV living experience, especially for those on extended trips or seeking a social environment.
Safety and security are also highlighted as positive aspects of Diamond Campground. The reviewer mentioned feeling safe throughout their stay, attributing this to the presence of security cameras and the visible activity of the staff who were "usually pretty busy out and about keeping things tidy as people came and left." This level of security and staff presence provides peace of mind for guests leaving their RVs for day trips and excursions, a significant consideration when choosing from various "RV parks near me."
Beyond the campground itself, its location offers proximity to various attractions. Another reviewer mentions that it's a "best camping spot if you’re looking for something close to COS (Colorado Springs)." This accessibility to Colorado Springs expands the range of activities and conveniences available to guests. Furthermore, the reviewer notes the presence of "great bike trails" and the close proximity to "Manitou Lake" for activities like paddleboarding and fishing, catering to outdoor enthusiasts. This strategic location near recreational opportunities further enhances the appeal of Diamond Campground for those seeking an active and engaging RV getaway.
Promotional information is somewhat limited, with one reviewer suggesting to "Check out their website for availability." This implies that the campground likely has an online presence where potential guests can find more details about pricing, site availability, seasonal dates, and potentially any special offers or promotions. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit their website or contact them directly via phone to inquire about current rates and any seasonal discounts that may be available.
In conclusion, Diamond Campground Inc. appears to be a highly regarded RV park near Woodland Park and Colorado Springs, offering a compelling combination of affordability, a welcoming community, clean and well-maintained amenities, a beautiful natural environment, and a sense of safety. Its proximity to outdoor activities like biking and water sports at Manitou Lake, as well as its accessibility to Colorado Springs, further enhances its appeal for those searching for "RV parks near me" in the region. The positive experiences shared by long-term and returning guests underscore its reputation as a "diamond in the rough." Prospective guests are encouraged to check their website or call for availability and to experience the welcoming atmosphere and quality amenities that Diamond Campground has to offer.

Diamond Campground Inc. Reviews
We chose Diamond Campground because they had the best monthly rates out of at least 15 different places we called between Denver and Colorado Springs. After staying there for the summer, we really came to appreciate what a diamond in the rough it truly is! The area is beautiful; it was nice being nestled amongst the trees there. It may be called a campground but it’s RV friendly with full hookups. The amenities were nice, the community there was really friendly and welcoming, and it felt safe. Their showers and bathroom get cleaned daily so they’re always clean and tidy. The laundry room — also cleaned daily — was a great perk too since they have a number of washers and dryers so we could get it all done at once. One thing we didn’t expect to enjoy so much was the community — there were a lot of long-time returners (since Diamond is open seasonally) whom we met at the potluck events held at their cute little indoor-outdoor community center. It was a great way to meet the neighbors. It felt safe the whole time too which was also super nice. They had security cameras and the staff was usually pretty busy out and about keeping things tidy as people came and left so no issues with leaving my rig there during day trips and excursions. Can’t wait to stay there again! Check out their website for availability.
Dec 09, 2024 · Naemi FreyBest camping spot if you’re looking for something close to COS. Clean bathrooms and large spots. We camp here 5x a year when we’re looking for a last minute getaway. Great bike trails and manitou lake is very close for paddle boarding and fishing.
May 10, 2025 · Keri LindseyMy wife and I lived and worked remotely at Diamond Campground for 3 months during the summer of 2024 and it was magical. The campsites are spacious and wooded, the town is very quaint and accessible and the wildlife and proximity to other areas of Colorado are amazing. We've traveled in our RV on the road for several years, and this will forever be our favorite campground and experience. If you have an opportunity to stay here, don't think twice, just do it! Thanks again for all the great memories!
Jan 05, 2025 · Jake BartoschMy wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Diamond Rv for 3 months and it was awesome. Jane and Deb were always very helpful if we needed anything. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry get cleaned daily. Nice park to hike with lots of nature to watch. Thank you Jane and Deb for all that you do.
Jan 14, 2025 · Josh ArnoldMy family and I camped here for 4 nights recently and really enjoyed our stay. Checking in was easy and straightforward. I had mixed up our dates and needed to extend our stay by one night which was easy to do with no moving sites needed. We stayed in site 18 which was right by the playground for our kids and a quick walk to the bathroom. The bathhouse had been recently remodeled and was 5 stars! Each shower stall was plenty spacious, even for a mom and her toddler to get showered without soaking our dry clothes. Plenty of hot water, good pressure and cleaned everyday. Top notch. The laundry room is also spacious enough to get done what we needed. We simply signed up for a time slot that worked for our schedule and I was able to get everything done in one session with. There are 4 washers and 6 dryers, plenty!Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
