Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Hemet, California area that might also provide long-term residential options such as mobile homes? Consider Eastlake Mobile Park Association, located at 1355 S Lyon Ave, Hemet, CA 92543, USA. You can reach them at (951) 925-2066 or +1 951-925-2066 for inquiries.
Eastlake Mobile Park Association is situated in Hemet, a city in the Inland Empire region of Southern California, known for its more affordable housing and a generally quieter lifestyle. The location on South Lyon Avenue suggests its proximity to local amenities and transportation options within Hemet.
Based on the available customer reviews, Eastlake Mobile Park Association presents a complex picture with both positive and significant negative aspects regarding the living experience. One long-term resident, who lived in Eastlake for over a decade and served as vice president for a year, describes it as a "Great place to live." This reviewer acknowledges the presence of crime, which they note is common in most places in Hemet, advising vigilance. Their only personal issue is with "a few dog haters" within the community, but they are thankful that this is a minority. This positive perspective highlights the potential for a good living experience for some residents, emphasizing a sense of community and a generally positive environment.
However, another, more recent review offers a dramatically different and highly negative perspective. This reviewer states that if they could give the place zero stars, they would. Their parents have lived in Eastlake for three years, and during this time, their father was diagnosed with cancer, requiring the reviewer to move in to provide care. The central complaint revolves around the Homeowners Association (HOA) constantly "harassing" their father about the reviewer's presence, even threatening eviction despite a doctor's note explaining the necessity of their caregiving role. This suggests potential inflexibility or a lack of compassion on the part of the HOA management in certain situations.
Furthermore, this negative review details other significant concerns. It mentions that "some not all" residents are friendly, and specifically cites a neighbor who allegedly tried to "fist fight" the reviewer's father over radio volume. Additionally, the reviewer reports frequent new rules with automatic $100 fines for violations, which they feel intrude on residents' rights within their own homes and property they are buying. The review strongly advises against moving to Eastlake, citing "absolutely no good views," and serious issues with crime, including "a bunch of kids breaking into houses, stealing golf carts, breaking into garages." The security team is also criticized for "harassing" residents, even those they recognize, and even following them home. The reviewer notes only one "nice security guy" amidst these negative experiences. Finally, they mention people smoking and drinking in the pool area despite posted rules against it, contrasting this with the HOA's strictness regarding their caregiving situation. This paints a picture of a community with significant issues related to management, safety, and the enforcement of rules.
The stark contrast between these two reviews indicates a potentially fractured community or significant changes over time. The positive review from a long-term resident suggests that a pleasant living experience was possible in the past, while the negative review highlights serious current concerns about management practices, safety, and the overall living environment.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might also be considering long-term residency in a mobile home park, Eastlake Mobile Park Association's location in Hemet might be a consideration due to the area's affordability. However, the serious allegations of harassment by the HOA, safety issues including break-ins and theft, and inconsistent rule enforcement raised in the negative review necessitate extreme caution and comprehensive investigation.
Prospective residents are strongly advised to visit Eastlake Mobile Park Association in person to assess the current environment and verify the claims made in the reviews. During a visit, observe the overall atmosphere, the interaction between residents, and any visible security measures. Inquire specifically about the HOA's rules and enforcement policies, particularly regarding visitors and caregiving situations. It would also be prudent to ask about security protocols and any recent incidents of crime within the community. Speaking with multiple current residents, if possible, could provide a broader perspective on the living experience and the management's responsiveness to resident concerns.
When evaluating a mobile home park for long-term residency, it is essential to inquire about various aspects such as lot fees, utility costs, community amenities (if any), park rules and regulations, and the process for addressing resident issues and maintenance requests. The available reviews do not provide information on these crucial factors for Eastlake Mobile Park Association, so direct communication with the management is necessary to obtain this information.
In conclusion, Eastlake Mobile Park Association in Hemet presents a situation with significantly conflicting feedback. While a long-term resident recalls a "great place to live" with friendly neighbors, a more recent review describes serious issues with HOA harassment, safety concerns including theft and break-ins, and inconsistent rule enforcement. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who are also exploring mobile home living, Eastlake's location might be a consideration. However, the serious allegations in the negative review demand thorough and independent investigation. A personal visit, direct inquiries with the management and multiple residents, and careful consideration of the potential issues are strongly recommended before making any decisions about residing at Eastlake Mobile Park Association.

Eastlake Mobile Park Association Reviews
I have lived in Eastlake for over a decade and served as vice president for a year. Great place to live, however there is crime here as most places in Hemet. Just be vigilant. The only thing that I have a problem with is that there are a few dog haters that also live here. Thankfully there's only a few.
Mar 25, 2025 · Charles FuentesIf I could give this place zero stars I would. My parents have lived here for three years. And in that three years my dad has gotten cancer and I had to leave my place to come stay with my parents to help with my dad's cancer appointments and the HOA is constantly harassing my dad about me being here. They were even threatened with being kicked out if I didn't leave. Gave the manager a note from his Dr stating that I am to take my dad to his appointments and help him with after care. I can say some not all of the people here are friendly. My dad's neighbor can't seem to mind his own business. He has also tried to fist fight my dad over my dad playing his radio. Then on top of that my dad gets a new list of rules that if they catch you breaking it's an automatic 100$ fine. I'm not saying rules are bad but when someone else is trying to tell you how, and what you can do in your home or on the property that my parents are buying that crosses a line. To anyone who reads this if you are considering moving here. DON'T!! There are absolutely no good views of anything and there's a bunch of kids breaking into houses, stealing golf carts, breaking into garages, a security team that harasses you all the way to your house even though they have seen you multiple times and you've told them where you live, and they even follow you to your house. There is one nice security guy that's it. People smoking and drinking in the pool area even when it's posted that you can't do that yet the HOA is on my dad about me being here. So yeah I wouldn't move here. Currently looking for a new place for my parents.
May 16, 2024 · NathanWe have lived here almost a year and my Aunt lived here for 19 years. This community is well kept and everyone is really friendly. Low cost living in a safe area. Absolutely breath taking views. We couldn't be happier.
May 16, 2022 · Lisa KellyDon't know what Ron Stanley shops here for = must be on wrong site. :) New here and absolutely love my little village. A new experience for me for manufactured home living and find it is perfect for this stage of my life. Very well maintained, people couldn't be friendlier and more helpful, and so many activities you may join. We could not have found a more fantastic Office Manager than Crystal Kellum who has to handle more than she should have to, but does it so well.
