Wrongly evicted from the Evergreen trailer park they made my mom ask me and my boyfriend to move out of the trailer that my mom owns even though we didn't cause any problems they took and want her to ask us to leave to move out witch made us to become homeless since April 3rd, 2025. I lived there for 6 year's and my boyfriend lived there for 4 year's. Before all of this happen we had permission to live there. They have 10 different stories and can't keep either stories straight not only that but they can't make up either minds if they will let my mom live there or not so my mom decided to sell her trailer house because of everything that has happened an that's going on there. They want the trailer house that my mom owns they are refusing to take the lot rent. They are honestly mad because my mom owns the trailer house and said that the trailer house should've ever been sold to my mom in the first place. After we moved out they went an raise the lot rent on my mom even though they won't take the lot rent money from my mom. I would not recommend anyone to make a decision live there. I think it's pretty bad that they are subpost to be Adult's they didn't have the guts to talk to us themselves no they had my mom talk to us instead. - Lesia Wonsey

One detailed account from a former resident describes a distressing situation involving eviction and communication issues. The reviewer states, "Wrongly evicted from the Evergreen trailer park they made my mom ask me and my boyfriend to move out of the trailer that my mom owns even though we didn't cause any problems they took and want her to ask us to leave to move out witch made us to become homeless since April 3rd, 2025. I think it's pretty bad that they are subpost to be Adult's they didn't have the guts to talk to us themselves no they had my mom talk to us instead."

This lengthy and impassioned review alleges several significant issues, including a perceived wrongful eviction, inconsistent communication from management ("10 different stories"), indecisiveness regarding the resident's mother's ability to continue living there, and a potential conflict of interest regarding the ownership of the trailer. The reviewer also claims that the management refused to accept lot rent and subsequently raised the rent even though they were unwilling to take payment. Furthermore, the reviewer expresses dissatisfaction with the management's communication style, alleging a lack of direct communication. This account paints a picture of a potentially unstable and unfairly managed living environment.

Another review corroborates concerns about the management's demeanor, stating, "Manager was rude like severely rude no need for snobby ness when asking about a home I wanted to purchase if you don't like being asked questions then don't be a park manager." This feedback suggests a lack of professionalism and poor interpersonal skills on the part of the management, which can significantly impact prospective and current residents' experiences.

When considering options within the "RV parks near me" category, it is crucial to understand that mobile home parks like Evergreen Village offer long-term residential opportunities rather than short-term stays for recreational vehicles. The serious allegations made in these reviews regarding eviction practices, communication, and management attitude should be a significant consideration for anyone contemplating living in this community.

Given the severity of the negative feedback, it is imperative for anyone considering Evergreen Village to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This should include contacting the management to directly address the concerns raised in the reviews and to understand their perspective and any steps being taken to rectify these issues. It would also be highly advisable to seek out additional feedback from current residents, if possible, to gain a broader understanding of the living environment and management practices.

Prospective residents should specifically inquire about:

  • The park's eviction policies and procedures.
  • The management's communication protocols with residents.
  • The process for addressing resident concerns and disputes.
  • The reasons behind the issues described in the negative reviews.
  • Any recent changes in management or park policies.
  • The overall stability and fairness of the community's management.

Visiting Evergreen Village in person would also be beneficial, if possible. This would allow you to observe the general upkeep of the community and potentially speak with current residents to gather additional perspectives. However, given the serious nature of the allegations, a thorough investigation into the management's practices is strongly recommended.

The negative reviews paint a concerning picture of Evergreen Village, highlighting potential issues with eviction processes, communication, and management conduct. These are critical factors that can significantly impact a resident's peace of mind and overall living experience. Therefore, prospective residents must weigh this feedback very carefully.

In conclusion, the online reviews for Evergreen Village in St. Louis, MI, raise significant red flags regarding management practices, including allegations of wrongful eviction and rude behavior. For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category who might be considering a longer-term stay at a mobile home park, Evergreen Village warrants extreme caution and thorough investigation. It is strongly recommended to contact the management to directly address the serious concerns raised in the reviews and to seek additional information from other sources, including current residents, before making any decisions about living in this community. The potential for instability and unfair treatment, as suggested by the negative feedback, makes comprehensive due diligence an absolute necessity.

We urge anyone considering Evergreen Village to proceed with extreme caution and to prioritize obtaining firsthand information and multiple perspectives to make an informed decision that aligns with their housing needs and expectations.
